what key do you do Unchained Melody in?I'm thinking-that's what you smell burning-of hooking up my phaser just for S&G this weekend. I've been f---ing* with the TBird through it the past few days and figger it might fit in with some of the songs we do. Especially a coupla the ballads like Tennessee Whiskey or Unchained Melody. Or not. I've also been f---ing*with the Micro POG and I can't seem to find the sound I was getting B4-which came close to the sound of a bass and guitar in octaves.

Peavey? My first amp was a late 80's Basic 60 combo and then a bit older Combo 300. From the former's 3 band EQ to the latter's 8 band parametric took sime time to get grips to but it was a pretty powerful amp. Then I bought the Hiwatt in 1997 and that and the Lab heads acquired later have been my amps ever since.
No kidding, they're certainly easy to work on space wise if you need to get in there. I mean if Johnk can build a 370 into a pedal, the 360 in a rack should be a walk in the park.

What would really be great is if you could get the innards of the Super40 into a rack mount.
Hopefully no harm done and mods are busy being occupied with bigger website issues. At least I didn't respond. We or I would likely be shut down. Wisdom kicked in and I thought a collective self-admonition from within the club would hopefully indicate to anyone concerned that we do try to play nice and by the rules. Unless cars, food and a few other things become the rabbit to chase for a bit.

No, but did think of that when I finished typing. Nasty habit can mean different things to different people.
Didn't offend me and I strongly disagree. But I consider you a friend (one who is always welcome in my home), and friends don't have to agree on everything. Mature friends can pull it off, which makes for really good relationships.
That post was going so well...then I got to the end.Two gigs this weekend, Friday and Saturday night. Thunderbird both nights(at least that's the plan). Saturday's gig is close; should be home 10-ish. Then I can begin the prep for Monday morning's endoscopy/colonoscopy. Whee!I can hardly effing wait.
