I like it. If you want to build a rack mount 360, please build one for me too. DiCossimo seems to be asleep at the switch. I hate when people release prototype project info, but don’t follow through on the execution.

I wonder if @Sensei Tim would be interested in helping us out. Although I don’t know if he’ll consider a rack mount option.

I can do that, I'll keep track of how much mine costs to put together so I can have an estimate. Plus, I can work out any kinks that may arise as I prototype mine. Would you want a DI out incorporated or just the simpler layout I posted?

Thanks! Chuck’s the full treasure. I can do all sorts of tube stuff, but only rudimentary solid state.
too kind…..Miles CAN but refuses to work on non tube stuff cause it plain ain’t fun…..:meh::meh:

Be sake Rick.
Some Sake might have been good this morning. We made it out alright. Turns out I need to recaulk a window and replace about 2sq ft of drywall. Gotta reinforce my wooden fence as it's got a Michael Jackson lean to it. And my kids trampoline flew away. But no thing major.

Eye passed right over us around 9am. We had 90mph winds for a good few hours.

Two gigs this weekend, Friday and Saturday night. Thunderbird both nights(at least that's the plan). Saturday's gig is close; should be home 10-ish. Then I can begin the prep for Monday morning's endoscopy/colonoscopy. Whee!:hyper: I can hardly effing wait.:rollno:

I still maintain that a meal from Chipotle is the best prep.

Food from Chipotle or Pollo Tropical(similar)doesn't bother me at all, nor does it produce 'that' effect. I have an old, rusty cast iron stomach. I can eat anything I wanna eat. Lotsa [stuff] I don't wanna eat, but about the only thing that goes through quick is coffee.

I'm thinking-that's what you smell burning-of hooking up my phaser just for S&G this weekend. I've been f---ing* with the TBird through it the past few days and figger it might fit in with some of the songs we do. Especially a coupla the ballads like Tennessee Whiskey or Unchained Melody. Or not. I've also been f---ing*with the Micro POG and I can't seem to find the sound I was getting B4-which came close to the sound of a bass and guitar in octaves. :banghead:

Quiet work day, and since I've got time before the PCB arrives and I can dig into the project, I thought I'd do some mock ups of projects I've got on the horizon. First up is the 360+ I'm laying out. I was contemplating adding an integrated DI into the 360+ directly, but since I've had plans for a rack version of the Wolfbox/Acme Motown for a while, figured it'd be more versatile to just run the 360+ into one of those inputs. May add a footswitch out to the 360+, but since it's probably going to live in a rack, I'm undecided if that's necessary. The Hitsville Duo is my take on the Wolfbox, with some changes. Namely, using CAPI Transformers that have taps for different ratios, so can be switchable. I also had plans to integrate a sum out of both inputs, in case I was running my 4001 andonly had one channel available when recording, but I think I've decided against it and just to keep it simple. Toughest thing will be getting the front and rear plates printed properly and affordably.

It would not surprise me a bit if a 360 preamp could fit in a single rack unit. There isn't much besides air in the box.
If I screw up do they send two? :smug:
Yes. Be very careful.
