When we were young teens learning how to play in our garage band (after seeing The Beatles on Sullivan) we used 45’s and the record player never spun accurately in the right key. It was always sharp or flat. We learned some very simple songs in weird keys! It wasn’t until we got older and bought sheet music and song books that we realized! Plus we had to listen over and over to get the lyrics. I’m sure those weren’t accurate either. Fun times! Ha
Congrats Geoff!Today (12th July) is my last day as an employee at the company I’ve done 34 years service at.
I’m officially calling it retirement but I may look for a day or two work every so often.
Maybe I should get a barista ticket?or a truck/bus license?
I might see if any local clubs need a part time concierge / welcomer.![]()
I didn't like the feel of Pressurewounds.TT no T. Getting this mofo dialed in. The Pressurewounds were not the answer. Back on the SIT Power Wounds with the treble turned down. It's getting there.

And then there's the recording process back then. It may have been sped up just a little or slowed down just a little. And tuning. They may or may not have tuned to a tuning fork or a tuned up piano. I'm always amused at how much the Rolling Stones speed up and slow down in some of their recordings. It works anyway. When we were young teens learning how to play in our garage band (after seeing The Beatles on Sullivan) we used 45’s and the record player never spun accurately in the right key. Taylor seems to like it. Maybe if you dress and dance like her, you would change your mind. He might not, though. So there's that.Big day! "15 Year Member" achievement. I would like to thank the band for making tis possible, our producer, my family.... Oh, wrong award.
Though I'm becoming more famous every time I check TB, I'm still not dating Travis Kelce.

And here we have Chuck P., bass player and amp restorer extraordinaire, also inventor of the plectrum soul patch - an adhesive backed guitar pick that you stick below your lower lip when not in use. The trend is starting.
