Hey KB.
If you have a fairly new VP you will use the BT 1 extender.
The top two screws will line up but you will have to drill two new holes for the lower part of the plate.
The very first generation VP came with a larger back plate. That one is the BT 2
I never saw a reason to replace the rest of the Wilkinson tuners so l can’t say if you would have to drill the lower holes on them.
I used the standard size key.
The black VP has the BT1

I don’t know. But you need an electrical engineering degree to figure it out.

The stock Electar pickup is the top VT with the resistance switch and top jack. The Dark stars are bottom VT with a 3-way toggle and side jack. Folks were using both outputs into a Trace Elliot and a Bugera. Massive sound.

It's essentially the stock Cassidy (center) pu, rotary switch and V/T controls in one jack, and the two vintage Fred Hammon Darkstars & V/T/3-way switch in the side jack. No cross-over.
