Wow, really? I have a very distinct memory of them. I just saw the doc "Decline of Western Civilization by Penelope Spheeris when it came out and loved their aggressive performance ("let's have a war- we can blame it on the middle class" - very Reagan) in it. (saved for last in the doc to show the most hard-core version of west-coast punk) I bought the LP and it was sitting in front of my record player when I had a party. A fellow woman artist friend saw it and read the lyrics (not permissible here) and she confronted me saying... "you like this?" I just bought it and hadn't looked at the lyrics... unfortunately very misogynistically graphic and I assume "ironically posing"... but after that experience I put the LP in the trash the next day. Joking or posing - it was not cool.
