Thunderbird Club

Well that was pretty close to describing how D'A strings sounded on any of my basses..... As I've said before, it's been years and I should give them another fair try at some point.
Not long ago I tried their half rounds.
Pretty much dead sounding right out of the package.
Crossed right off my list.

Interesting... I use D'Addario EXLBT nickel rounds and have their half-rounds on at least one bass and they all deliver for me.

Need an ignorance pothole filled. I may be the only one who doesn't know the answer to this somewhat odd question. With two heads I was thinking of having both connected to the same cab and just turning on whichever head I wanted to use, leaving the connections from both heads to the speaker cab in place. One would be speakon to speakon and the other just 1/4in to 1/4in.
1. Is there a problem to either head or cab doing this?

2. If not, could both heads be on at the same time if I wanted? Not sure I would, but while I'm thinking about it.

Have Irv send you the artwork and take it to a vinyl sign store.
There's a thought. I need to get the van painted before I do that, though. It's going to rust, and I don't want to buy another gasoline powered van. Electric vans don't go far enough yet. Or I need to retire and not need to go to remote sites.

Was my luck of the draw with DA.
I much prefer Dunlop and Cobalt flats right now.
Next on tap are the Pressure Wounds, very curious to hear those.
Can't recall what bass I've used them on but pressure-wounds are good also. Before switching to D'Addario, I favored GHS strings. Still like them.

Excellent demo, and I’ve heard this guy before.
So far I’m lovin what I’m hearing.
And he’s right about the feel.
They are not half rounds by any means.
Thanks for this, Geo.
They will most likely go on either the Precision or Jazz.
