What’s neck profile like?
That's a good question. Did the neck profiles change between the different BaCH releases?

The hole in the headstock is unfortunate. You could get it repaired and painted black, then get a TRC with a BACH logo.Thank you Andy. You know my love for BaCHs. It definitely has a good home.
I think you’re right. It makes sense, as it sure looks like the pickup from the LP bass. It’ll likely stay as is. Although I will have the rout modded a tiny bit to allow the pickup height to be adjusted. Scott’s guard is nice.
The guy obviously did some adventuring in the control cavity. He bent the cap into a different position and it looks like he fussed with solder joints.
The main issue is what he did to the headstock. You had the stock tr cover on it and the top hole for it is there. But he put something else on and left a buggerd hole from a top screw higher up.

And I’m pretty sure he used CNA in the nut slot. Ugh. I can’t budge the nut. But it appears to be a Tusq nut, not the molded plastic as came stock.
LOL - there are a few on here that can say that. I have two, as does Marshall, I think Chucky does, Scott may have even more, not sure who else is in the BaCH bunch but I think this club is slowly cornering the market.“My other Bach is a Bach.”
The heels on mine look noticeably different. And the weight is very different among all three that I’ve owned. That's a good question. Did the neck profiles change between the different BaCH releases?
Yep. It’s a nice player. I’ll be dialing things in over the next few days. It will get a Wilkins refinish, including the headstock. I’ll be asking you for a white TR and logo. The hole in the headstock is unfortunate. You could get it repaired and painted black, then get a TRC with a BACH logo.![]()
yep, 70’s Gibson Sidewinder on the II… TBuckers 66 on the IV…LOL - there are a few on here that can say that. I have two, as does Marshall, I think Chucky does, Scott may have even more, not sure who else is in the BaCH bunch but I think this club is slowly cornering the market.

My white one has ChinaBuckers which sound pretty good. The blue one will get Gibson Reissues in it when I get around to doing the routing. I’m really liking the IV layout. Marshall has my old II and upgraded the pickup from an Altec to a Gibby reissue, sounds great and is in a wonderful home with somebody that appreciates a II layout more than I do.
Is it the way the photo was taken, or do I see an arm contour on the blue one?LOL - there are a few on here that can say that. I have two, as does Marshall, I think Chucky does, Scott may have even more, not sure who else is in the BaCH bunch but I think this club is slowly cornering the market.

kinda hard to see the artwork on the IC..,,some kind of BiFET input OpAmp but who’s?…This came in yesterday afternoon, so figured I’d throw it together. Haven’t had a chance to test it yet, but looking forward to it. For @PhR75

send me what and how (song, EQ, pickup V/V/T blend, pick, fingerstyle etc)you want me to play it and (if within my ability) I’ll try and cobble something…. they’re both wearing RS66…..I'd love to hear each one through the same exact signal chain.

Chuck won’t disappoint. Thanks, Chuck! Dealer's choice.Whatever you think is a good example riff and EQ, especially for those two basses. I'd prefer fingers since that's how I play. Glad you mentioned strings being the same.
What do these words even mean? Not applicable.send me what and how (song, EQ, pickup V/V/T blend, pick, fingerstyle etc)you want me to play it and (if within my ability) I’ll try and cobble something…. they’re both wearing RS66…..

Too kind Jeff…..I’ll get it together later today or over the weekend….for now, two live clips, different bands…same rig/strings….one with pick one fingers but both have that triplety thing going…….to me, they both sound remarkably close even though the venues couldn’t be different…..I guess one subconsciously (?) strives to “homogenize” their tone…Chuck won’t disappoint.
I’ll try to measure it. There used to me a micrometer around here. Haven’t seen it in ages though. How thin is it?

It’s a 1.5 nut width like my other BaCH. A little rounder than my “flattish” Gibson ‘15, but not baseball bat handle round. If that makes any sense. It’s a nice neck. What’s neck profile like?
