My thing is, I wanna go simple and small before I head across the pond.
I find having what I have now is too much and still doesn’t quite get me where I want tone wise.

Ya got like 2 1/2 months left before you're wingin' across the Atlantic - Short timer!

Best of times.

I have both the bridge and pickup covers for mine, with only the bridge cover being installed. When I first got the bass both parts were heavily tarnished, but since I rest my right hand on the bridge cover it's now become quite shiny and polished looking.

Dull.

Nice! I have both for mine. Even have the mutes. I'll have to dig all that out and dress it up one day for pic.

Fortunately I'm still in love with my Ampeg and Ashdown. Between the two I'm getting great sounds to my ears. But if I wasn't married...I would doubtless have more amps and basses. Foolish as it would be.
I gotta make a choice before I split.
I won’t have the funds.
Will be limited and fixed.
I can always get a cab once I’m settled overseas.
I’ll be able to get a new amp no prob before I leave.

You have so many choices.

It has been some years since I played through the WD800 and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Then the TT came out. I’m not one who likes to mess much with EQ once I like what I’m hearing. So I went the simpler route sans a para EQ but with the flexibility of two distinct channels. And that’s why I like the M6 with the bass, mid, and treble knobs, and the simple voice selector.

I hear ya Marshall.
Oddly enough, the TT didn’t do anything for me.
Different strokes. (Ahem) :woot:

Will you take it in carry on?
If I ever move to Europe, I'll have to sell all the Rumbles or get a hefty transformer.; they're 120V only. I realize they're Fender's budget line, but how much extra would it cost to make them capable of using 240V as well as 120V? Not that much. Oh, well.
Same with my pedal board power supply. At least the newer Walrus Audio Canvas supplies appear to use a power brick that handles 120/240, as do the better competing supplies (CIOKS, etc.)

Yep. And that’s why Mesa makes the Subways in different flavors. Something for most everybody. And still there may be some that don’t care for any of them and that’s ok. There are Bergs, Aguilars, Genzlers, Oranges, DG’s, and on and on. It’ll be interesting to learn what you decide to do. And then you have to pick a cab…….
