I think white with gold hardware would look pretty cool too - Finding gold PU covers + rings and tuners are easy, but finding a gold 3-point bridge is pretty much an impossible task (unless it's a Hipshot Supertone)...

My Epi Flying V Bass has a gold three pointer on it. But I think I'll stay with the chrome on the TBird.

Still climbing objects, crawling under houses, walking up 4 flights of stairs with sheets of 3/4" plywood, etc. 56 this summer- my daughter's young men friends are, to me surprisingly soft and pudgy. It's a different paradigm, this generation. I'm glad to keep living in mine.

I will defend current young people, just as I take pride in keeping up with them. They are no different from what we were like back when, as far as I can tell. It takes some people a while to figure it out. Others figure it out immediately. The pressures and distractions they have now may or may not be easier or harder than any other generation. But, it's different, just as it always is.

It would take me a little while to get back into working shape now that I'm at a desk instead of out in the field, but I can still carry roofing up ladders and dig for a couple straight hours. The difference is that kids get tired, and I head for the old man drugs (aka Aspirin) instead of a cold beer. It's easier to ignore being tired and sore when you are older. It is for me anyway. Plus, there's the pride thing.

did you have to drill a hole for the grounding wire?

I'll have to ask LJ at Music Central in Hopkinsville MY (shameless plug) to verify how he did that. He said he'd probably run it to the bridge but I didn't ask him what the end solution was.

It is actually based on my own experience. Technology has however had more than one kind of impact.

Thunderbird sighting:

This saturday I saw Einstürzende Neubauten live.

Alexander Hacke was playing a 2014 Thunderbird in walnut the entire show (except one song) through an Ampeg fridge - Amazing growling sound!

That seemed to happen to me at 40. All of a sudden my iron levels dropped severely. I was running regularly, yet all of a sudden I couldn't run two or three miles without having to stop to catch my breath. After a battery of tests, absolutely nothing was revealed. I took iron supplements and was fine. Same thing happened again a couple of years later.

I actually think it's white with black hardware - The black coating seems to be almost worn off on the pickups, but you can still see traces of black on the bridge and the tuners are still black...
