Thunderbird Club

Yep. Watching each episode was the thing to do, then talk about it next week. I would come home from doing things I shouldn't and watch it on my small B&W TV in my bedroom and crack up.
As a show that is still on after decades - it's understandable they would have peaks and lulls. Their crew changes but amazingly enough the structure is still viable. I only watch excerpts anymore - and even when it was "good" the bombardment of commercials as the show went on drove me nuts. It's kinda like the (Rolling) Stones - still rocking over decades and each decade has a different fan-base who followed them. Me, I was there in the mid-'60s so the beginning to early-mid '70s and then I'm out but for the occasional later fun LP like "Some Girls".

Speaking of 'old' Mick - Bond Girl does a nice version of one of his latest songs -

If it’s like the 500w Ampeg RB-210, it will only run at 500W if you connect an 8ohm extension speaker cabinet. Still, might be plenty loud at 250w with 2 x 10”

I have the RB-112, and I think it’s a spectacular sounding combo, but it’s only for use in my garage and/or back patio for solo practice. The 112 would not be nearly enough for either of my bands.
Yes, the Rumble is 350w at 8ohms.

Bong Girl, nice!

I see a re-imagination of Bond Girl, with Bong Girl being your trippy-er, stony version.
Spell-check at it again! Actually there is a Bong Girl on fb ...

But The Sean Conneries does do some trippy material...

Hah! - I never bought a TV. They were just given to me for any number of reasons. Actually no.., come to think of it I did buy a TV - at a yard sale in Kentucky in the late '80s. (for $15?) I still have it - more of a "vintage collectors item" as I've not turned it on for over 20 yrs. An early '70s JVC Videosphere. It works (B&W) but do people still watch TV? I just checked and they are selling for over $1k! Time to sell! :woot:

Yeah! You could buy a custom bass.
Wait...

Still down in Mexico soaking up the rays and downing margaritas. Went to one of the cantina’s yesterday and enjoyed lots of drinks and a bit of food. Got a kick out of the weather forecasting device outside of the cantina…

…and on an on-topic note, I found a little bird related something that I might add to my flock. Should be waiting for me when I get back home.
