In what way? What I learned from the HH doc is how it became a vehicle for bringing country music into a broader awareness. It was definitely watched in our house growing up but I wouldn't have thought about it like that. The Smothers Brothers was similarly important for new youth-oriented pop music. And the 'family' aspect resonated with Baby Boom America then unlike 'Laugh-In' (similar format) which was considered 'adult' humor. We didn't grow up on a farm in Omaha but were entertained by ribbing of where (Nebraska/midwest) we lived. I never looked at it as mocking - more relating to our 'country' in a human humorous way.

Too bad Spinal Tap Nigel didn't use the vocal 'bag' (9:00) they could have really killed with some vocalizer goofiness. I have that same vintage Cry Baby wah-pedal - I gave it to Paul our guitarist. At one point I painted it orange... I'll have to take a pic of it next rehearsal.

Yep, still do. It's just pressure. There's no anchorage other than that. I used a crutch tip to keep it from sliding around so much.

if you keep driving past where I live, it turns into serious ranch/farm country where the dialog at the local hangs reminds me of the show….the BG festival, county fair and frequent rodeos add to the vibe…
