Thunderbird Club

Yep that’s it. I hated that song - couldn’t get away from it. 40 weeks in the charts and 14 weeks at no 1.:facepalm::help:

The TV music show Countdown used to give the top national chart positions each week, playing the clip of the no 1. Not bloody ABBA again!
Didn’t we cheer when they got knocked off the top!
Not bad with the volume muted.

No thanks. I don’t mind ABBA really, just that song drove me mad. :D
used to drink at a blue collar laborer bar (long gone Protective Club in Newport RI) where the bartender would wait for all the regulars (painters, masons, builders) to be in before playing Dancing Queen on the jukebox and stepping out for a smoke....

Yeah. I'd hoped for a more purple purple. If I don't find one of these at a good price, I'll find someone to refin my VP.
Unfortunately the going rate right now for neck through refins is up around $800 plus tax and shipping, which is nearly the same cost of a whole new bass in the color you want.

Oh come on. Did you see the one for $1000? Ridiculous.
No. I didn't scroll down but about 5 or 6. I don't know why some people think they are sitting on a gold mine. With a good many things on ebay they seem unaware you can buy a new X on Amazon for there used X. I think too many are just fishing for a fool to be parted from their money.

But that wasn't the case with I bought that $78,000 Thunderbird....

Yeah, I think one of my plums was being squeezed by my undies...................
Girl Problems.

Cruel bartender. How long did he live?

We have a whole house generator. We live on a good size hill (because Kentucky is flat ;) ), and our leg of power comes in through the woods (once in the neighborhood it's underground). Given that trees love to fall on power lines I didn't want to take chances being stranded up here--in addition to liking heat and AC regardless or the power situation.
