I owned one Ford. A Lincoln Navigator. By far the biggest POS we’ve ever had.

But if I ever had the opportunity and cash, I wouldn’t mind that one.

just got this '23 to (replace the Suburban) with under 30k miles and am already replacing the motor (under full Chevy warranty) for a well known lifter problem......one never knows these days.....

I don’t know. I have not seen many pre 80’s lately, much less a II. It’s in nice shape.

I really don't want to pay more than I did for my 2015...but it is the model I am looking for.

Yeah. It’s a crapshoot. I had mostly good luck with the Volvos, Hondas and Subies. VW not so much. The ‘73 Satellite was a good one. As was the’76 Dodge/Mitsubishi Colt. I had a ‘78 Bonneville that was a freaking tank. It’s probably still out there omewhere.

My 09 Tacoma has 275K on it. I replaced the AC compressor last year and they damaged the radiator. Other than that, it's just had maintenance.
I got some bodywork done recently, and I'm replacing the driver's seat upholstery when it gets a bit warmer out.

My 09 Tacoma has 275K on it. I replaced the AC compressor last year and they damaged the radiator. Other than that, it's just had maintenance.
I got some bodywork done recently, and I'm replacing the driver's seat upholstery when it gets a bit warmer out.

My 2010 Tacoma has 110K miles, and I am hoping I am lucky enough to make it to 275K like yours.

Thats roughly 170K miles, so still a good number. Since I work from home I put maybe 20 miles a week on the truck. As long as I maintain it, I should have plenty of years left. I'd love a newer one, but its really not necessary.

I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander with 210,000 miles. It still runs great. The electric windows on the other hand.....need some attention!

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra T (I think it simply stands for “Work Truck”) 4.7L (292ci) V8 with 185k on it and still going strong. With all the stuff I hear about newer trucks, I’m hoping this one gets me through to the end of my working days, I hate the idea of having to buy new…. If I had to I’d likely go Toyota, they have a great rep. I had a 4x4 SR5 pickup back in the 80’s with the 22R motor. That thing never let me down and I sold it with the mileage in the mid to high 100k range, and I saw it around for years after I sold it. Who knows, it may still be running.

I got a Gibson Les Paul Tribute DC SS bass:

…and had to make it my own:

Put a Gibson Thunderbird re-issue in it, got a replacement pickguard and added a thumb rest. The original PG, pickup, pots, etc are all packed away, and the thumb rest screw that looks like it goes into the body is a dummy, and the one in the middle is exactly where the pickguard screw hole is. This Gibson can easily be put back to bone stock without any damage showing and only one hole under the stock pickguard.

I purchased two other basses recently as well, a 1988 MIJ Fender MEDIUM SCALE Precision Bass and a 2010(?) MIJ Fender MEDIUM SCALE Jazz Bass. I don’t have the Jazz yet as it is my first purchase from a Japan eBay listing (I’m worried, and anxious for it to arrive).

This is one of those times where all the money spent has been replaced (-$393) by selling three other basses, two I was fine with selling, one I sold reluctantly.
