The neck on my BaCH is the nearest in shape, size and feel to my '64, I'm dumb lucky to have one.

He (Spencer) knew that bass was at The Bass Shop, and that it had been sold, and as we discussed the T4 he said very few had been made, like 4 or 5 total, that black one up on Reverb a little while back was a singular example. With 105 total made, any Lull Bird is going to be rare, but one that Mike made will
be even more so - I'd hang onto that beauty! I'm looking forward to seeing it in person at the next GTG, may bring mine so we can get a shot of them together.

It is a phenomenal bass and a real gem. I read somewhere the black one was a singular and I think my swamp ash MaryKay finish might be singular as well, the others were all solid white on mahogany IIRC.
I’ll gladly bring it to the GTG, would love to hear the difference the pickup locations make. I never got a chance to play yours but I’ve heard it being played and it did indeed sound fantastic. It was the main reason I bought this one.

Hmmmm, makes me wonder how thick my BaCHs are. I know my Dingwall is my thinnest reverse bird by far, not sure which of my NRs is thinnest or lightest.

as skinny as the BaCHs can be, the second gen Gibbys are/seem thinner/smaller....

LOL - (in my best Martha Stewart voice) Anytime a bouquet of roses have faded (usually about a week after purchase) I just rip the pedals off the flower and sprinkle them various places around the house. Adds a bit of color as they dry, then after a couple weeks they are gathered and put in sachets with a few drops of perfume and placed in dresser drawers.
