Replacement tuners for the reverse.
The tuners that Gibson sent twice were the wide clover leaf that would have hit each other as you tuned up.
The stock Hipshot licensed tuners are mini clovers.
I liked the look of these. At the time Hipshot USA was not making mini clovers as an exact replacement.

It's ready to go for in the morning. We talked about getting it refinished and are leaning towards having it done to get anything else sorted out and it look like it should. Pricing may determine that. The wife is thinking that way--and I don't like to argue or disappoint the wife. ;)

Interesting comparison. Mecum sells so many Corvettes you would think they were produced in the numbers Novas were. I have yet to see an AMX go through. A Javelin once years. A nice 2000 something Bentley was had for $70k last year. I thought that would have been a cool and decent buy. Those suckers are heavy, but I suspect they still have some get up and go to them. The interior was killer.

The tone pot on my VP died. Probably my fault for making it a no load pot. I ordered a prewired harness with CTS pots and no load tone pot. Two issues. Shaft diameter on the CTS is 3/8". A tapered reamer too care of the diameter issue. Bigger issue is the shafts are longer and the knobs sit too high. I can add a couple of washers under in the cavity I guess. Does anyone make a deeper top hat knob?

As far as I understand, they got different designations over time but the models were essentially the same. A 90 should be an older version.
