Bummer, what amp were you gonna use? GO NRs!....No go on playing the NR today.Heavy rain turned to Heavy snow which covered our roads. We live on curvy hill as do a few others in other places. Had to cancel church today so trying it out will have to wait till Wed when it's supposed to get into the single digits later that night.

Things I wish I was doing right now..............
NBD (New Body Day)
The reverse body just came in for a potential WarBird build. The current plan is to try and capture a large degree of the unique mid focused buzzsaw grit and grind Warwick thumb sound that I love so much but in a familiar TBird shape and ergonomics that I love even more.
Note worthy changes that are hopefully design improvements without losing the Warwick sound vibe:
Hipshot bridge - the Warwick bridge and tail piece weighs more than the Hipshot, so I’ll try lighter first
Bartolini Pickups - in line split coil Jazz type pickups, no solo hum but still similar in sound to MEC pups
Aguilar OBP2 - same physical layout as the thumb MEC but more bottom and top end available
Ash Body - about 4 pounds, quite a bit lighter than a Bubinga body would have been
Maple/Maple neck - again lighter in weight than a Wenge/Wenge neck would have been
Gotoh Tuners - light weight to reduce neck dive
That’s a lot of changes over the Thumb design. The unknown is just how much they will conspire to change the sound, hopefully not too much. But if needed I could always come back and retrofit MEC pups, Preamp, Warwick bridge and a wenge neck, which I know would get me very very close to the sound goal at the expense of weight and cost. It’ll be interesting to see how far I can wander off the Warwick sound path before I’m lost in the weeds.

Yeah, was really looking forward to giving it a whirl. Was planning to go Ampeg at the run through. If the Chinabuckers are thin that would help add some bigness. I use it with the '64 Reverse, VPs and split coil Pbasses, but the ABM with the '64 Epi and everything else. Go figure. At some point I was going to flip on the ABM between something and see how that sounded.
Interesting the neck on the NR is slightly bigger than the old Reverse or Epi, but not a big as the new NRs. Not a bad thing, just different. I'm not too picky. True of yours?

Rugby League numbering starts at 1 for the fullback, through to 7 for the half back. The forwards start at 8 for one Prop, hooker is 9, and goes through to the lock at 13.
Hooker is really just a dummy half now ie first hands on the ball when it clears the ruck - like a rugby union 9 halfback.
For added confusion when I was a lad the Sthn Hemisphere (Aust & NZ) started the forwards with the lock at 8, props 11 & 13, hooker 12 (and we used to contest scrums). They eventually moved to equalise with England, Wales and France.

Yes, the factory part years ago. I'm not going to guess as it will certainly be longer than I thought. Main offices are still there. Not sure what they did with the factory, which I assume is behind the big office building.

Great! That's good to know. Everything seems really smooth, so the pots seem to be of good quality. The tone is subtle, but I mainly leave it wide open any more. Thanks! I'm looking forward to getting looking good. Just can't decide if I want to refinish it or have it done and look perfect. More perfecter than I could do.
I live in Lexington, have driven by there hundreds of times, never been to corvette museum though..
Where did the body come from? When you say "Hipshot bridge", which version are you planning to use? The KickA$$?
I know a couple people that have used this sellers setups before and were happy with the results.
I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
