It has been decades since I saw that. Teri Garr was exquisite.

did I miss the part about where the originals went?I was killing (wasting) time and sent a message to on the many ebay sellers in China selling Epi 760s and asked if they were sure those were Epi pickups as all I have seen has Epi stamped on the bottom. They said they were the new 750s. I assume they meant 760s, but seem unlikely 8 people on ebay sell Epi pickups when Epi does not. China at it's best again?
Has anyone seen the latest Epi version and what might be on the bottom, or not?

I got Fruit of the Loom for Christmas. Apparently Hanes are too expensive now.

Yeah, in '78 it would be a TB-900, you can see here in the '78 Catalogue, under the Project Series it's listed as TB-900.So, SN A787870, which is January 1978 should be a TB-900? The listing says TB-90 but that may just be because that’s all the broker knows.
I have a KickA$$ and a Supertone and a Warwick bridge in the parts bin. The KickA$$ is the most straight forward install of the three, the other two will require routing or anchors. So probably the kickA$$ bridge.Where did the body come from? When you say "Hipshot bridge", which version are you planning to use? The KickA$$?
I know a couple people that have used this sellers setups before and were happy with the results.
Rosser guitars on eBay.Where did you source the body from?
If I get some spare time tomorrow I can lift a pup out of my purple sparkle Eppi and snap a pic of the back plate. To my ears they do sound different than my first run VP.I was killing (wasting) time and sent a message to on the many ebay sellers in China selling Epi 760s and asked if they were sure those were Epi pickups as all I have seen has Epi stamped on the bottom. Totally understood Donnie. Thanks Jeff. One thought was just leave it pretty much as is and let the scars of morons past (not J.T.) show. But I'm really leaning to getting it looking healthy again.
The only change i made to the J harness i got from him was swapping out the caps.He uses CTS, Orange Drop, Switchcraft, decent wire..
Seems worth it for an easy drop in installation.
I would be way beyond confused to see a little fast guy wearing 3 and a big fat guy wearing 10. Hookers weren't always big like props, so 9 wouldn't confuse me as much. Except that scrum halfs were usually really little quick guys. It is a whole new world out there. A short guy wearing 4? Mind blown!Well spotted Will.
Rugby League numbering starts at 1 for the fullback, through to 7 for the half back. The forwards start at 8 for one Prop, hooker is 9, and goes through to the lock at 13.
Hooker is really just a dummy half now ie first hands on the ball when it clears the ruck - like a rugby union 9 halfback.
For added confusion when I was a lad the Sthn Hemisphere (Aust & NZ) started the forwards with the lock at 8, props 11 & 13, hooker 12 (and we used to contest scrums). They eventually moved to equalise with England, Wales and France.
You always were more exotic and refined than the rest of us. It is a tough job, and we are lucky somebody is up to it.Wacoal Bikinis for this Queen, Frank knows what I like!![]()
The pickup looks closer to the neck than usual for a Thunderbird. I wonder what pickup it has. Pickup location might sound good (to me). It would have more black in the sound, and maybe a little more green. Less snarl for sure.Interesting, this one.
The body is just a little "off"

Hmmm... There is room for a midbucker up at the neck....The pickups in the Epi '64 do not say "Epiphone 760" on the bottom. I think the 760's are only in the Indonesian production. I.E. Vintage Pro and '60s Thunderbird. Just my .02, but I like the newer ones in the '64 much better than the '760s, no lack of bottom or lo mid.

Light enough. But playing roulette with the pickup. Odd it isn’t identified. I think I recall seeing that listed before a couple years ago.Interesting, this one.

Sir, you have fine taste in many things. It has been decades since I saw that. Teri Garr was exquisite.
No one knows. I suspect the neck was broken at some point and parts were likely used for other things..... Hopefully I can put some feathers on this naked bird.did I miss the part about where the originals went?
