Thunderbird Club

what pups? strings? any clips? Looks fabulous.
Thanks. The pickups are first generation 760ProBuckers installed in the correct 1966 positions. Strings are Cobalt flats.
No sound clips yet, I need to shim the neck to compensate for the different neck pocket depth and heel thickness first. That will get the action down where it needs to be, too high right now.

Six Gibsons, all regular reverse:
1995 burst
1997 ebony
1999 ebony
2001 natural
2001 burst
2003 white

One Gibson Short Scale
2011 matte black

One Epiphone VP
2017 white

One Greco TB -70(?)
198x color TBD, either white or ultra dark green.

So seven Gibsons, two "other"
I trust you all went to the poll page and took the poll as well...

There are times I think it would be fun to have my old Kasino (the Kustom sans tuck and roll) 200 and matching big 215 cab. It was LAF. But in reality, it wasn't all that great.
I'd love to find one locally with a fried amp and/or speakers and replace the guts with better quality parts.

I'm curious why the Greco is so far down the list and the 64 Epi is so high.

The vintage Dimarzio's loaded in my Hamer Blitz and St. Blues PJ bass KILL!! Love those pickups!!
I don't recall what a Dimarzio-equipped bass sounds like (V, don't you have one?) but I fell in love with the brand early on when I put a pair of SDS-1s in my Hagstrom. The original pickups were somewhat anemic. The Dimarzios are *killer*.

Yup, it's trippy! I'm also not a fan of capos.
My capo use is pretty much limited to learning new songs in a hurry from a recording in a different key. I take one to gigs in case there's a key change I don't want to cope with in the moment (still trying to get back to where I was on guitar that I didn't need to do that) but in ~10 years of playing have had to do that exactly once.

Great stuff! Yet another band I am finding out about way late. That Modulus sound great.
They've been around with some breaks for a long time. I like them. I've listened to them enough on Spotify that they come up in my feed occasionally. I'm thinking Rich is probably well aware of them.
