Thunderbird Club

If it sounds good, it's good. Full stop.
That's how I deal with the world. That's probably true of all of us, since we wouldn't play Thunderbirds if we followed the conventional wisdom. But, there's a place for being shallow, too. If it looks good, it is good. That's why the Flamingo looks like it does.

Wireless is a necessary evil. I move too much :)
Just got the TT Racked.
Wireless is behind the Korg DT 1 tuner, in the back.

I’m torn : the TT or the SVT ???

The Thunderbird and My Acynonix will likely get the nod.

First outing in over a month.
I can almost use a cord with a bass guitar. Now that I have been wireless for many years, it wouldn't end well. With the upright, wireless keeps me from having real problems. Either way, I ended up like the dog with a leash wrapped around a tree and with one leg up in the air all tangled up in the leash and the tree. Wireless saves me from my own antsy self.

I really like the drum kit. Japanese stencil kits like that can be a bit hit or miss, but I love 'em anyway. That one looks like it was probably made in the 1960s. I'm guessing it's got luan mahogany shells and needs a bit of damping to sound its best. A good stencil kit is incredibly lively and will ring out quite a bit if you don't tame it.

When I first looked at this Rick I thought it was my old bass...............
The PG is split just like mine was, I had worn more finish of of the back and neck, sure miss that old Bass Banjo sometimes!

Yep. BT 1 is what you are looking for the Hipshot extender.
When I fully retire from live giging I’ll have about 35 of those to get rid of.
I use them on every “working “ bass I have.
I have them on nearly every bass, and every bass I play regularly. We play Civil War in Eb. The guitarist retunes. I flip the lever and just use a different fingering on the E (well, low D when flipped) string. It makes life really easy.

should be pointed out early wireless did not digitize the signal like new ones do and instead of transmitting in the GHz(2.4) band worked at much lower frequencies, with some at the 27MHz Citizens Band (CB radios) iirc..

900MHz was another band used by a lot of wireless products. They sucked.

Any golfers?

Eastern Brown is very poisonous. Forget the size just don’t get bitten.

Sorry for the AI clip.
It was on the TV News here in Sydney (the course is on the Central Coast just north of Sydney).
But I couldn’t find the news clip on YT. The first screen of the snake was the same as the News story.
The News didn’t say anything much about the size of the snake, more about it being a Brown….

Wd did a song in Eb the other day. So much easier since I tune to D standard now!
