That must be a really long strap given how she runs the strap over the wing. Or she is really tiny. Can you believe she is 64?You can tell she's really a 'Bird person because she slings it low, with the neck angled up.

Mine, too... 2 years later, Welcome To My Nightmare! My first concert was Alice Cooper in 1973 for Billion Dollar Babies - Yeah, it didn't affect me at all![]()

I looked and couldn't find that brand of string mute anywhere.Shedding something other than a g string, I see...
Double barrel pick holders....and extra strings...Padding for both shoulders. Innovative way to strap on.
I've brought friends home before... Got lectures about finding better friends. You should host a GTG. I'm sure your Mom would love the bass playing.
Is that any part of those amps being warmer than many SS amps after those?Transistors can be used in analog or digital circuits. There may be digital aspects to parts of an amp.
Your Acoustic amp or my 78 Peavey don't have any D/A or A/D signal conversion going on.
I'll stay off the golf course. But was walking in our woods and came up on this. Not Thunderbirds.I'm not a golfer. And now I'm even less likely to become a golfer. Thanks for the public service announcement.
Not really. Newer amps are typically class D, which can run at 90% efficiency, vs class A (25%) or Class AB (50-75%), the remainder being converted to heat.Is that any part of those amps being warmer than many SS amps after those?
The poisonous mallard. Rare attack bird.I'll stay off the golf course. But was walking in our woods and came up on this. Not Thunderbirds.

I'm safe here. In Oz they would be deadly.
I don't think so. I never thought of my Centurian as being a warm sounding amp. IIRC the manual says something about it being voiced to compensate for most bass cabs lacking in treble response. Is that any part of those amps being warmer than many SS amps after those?
My '64's bottom strap button came from the factory about 3" from CL.Thanks in advance ! For indulging my novice bird owner questions. (I’m on page 300 of the thread, only 10 years ago MAN Y’ALL IS A CHATTY BUNCH)
So just thinking ahead.
I have a Epi Vintage Pro arriving Friday.
The Tuners appear to be import commodity tuners.
I saw mention of standard Hipshot UL clovers not fitting some models, but those seemed to be the models with the “closed/sealed” type.
**Really like Gotoh Resolites on other basses.
Question(s)
Tuners shafts 3/8 shaft size or 1/2?
Specifically for the Epi VP:Want to add a D-Tuner.
What are my options (models) Hipshot tuners?
That will.:
Fit without running into each other.
Cover the existing holes (not critical)
Has a corresponding X-Tender.
Should I just knuckle down and get a set with lollipops?
Has anyone here relocated the strap pin on the bottom, away from the centerline, more towards the upper wing? (Like a Warwick Dolphin, or ASAT?) and did that help with any Neck Dive?
I’ll re-adjust to playing it lower than my belt line. May even re-acquaint myself with a Pick (oh the horror)
Uh oh for @MCF. Gail and Nikki in the same photo.
That is awesome!
