Plenty of Thunderbird action here. I think Gail Greenwood is my spirit animal.

Bought on your suggestion.Love those strings!
They didn’t make a ton of 327 cars in 66-67. But enough for Bill Jenkins to support one in NHRA. Boy was he lethal in it…
NHRA spec rule for a convertible is 13.99, I think they dialed everyone else down to 11.49 nowTypically, roll bar and tranny strap is needed for sub 11 second 1/4 mile. Road course, that's a different story.
An old mop, perhaps…View attachment 7210510
Decisions, decisions.... Not sure what I want to put them on. But I'm sure I will find something in the storage room.
Nope, 2015is that active?

I like other SIT strings just never tried these particular ones.
Next choice would have been some flavor of roundcore DR.
Went heavier than my usual gauge to play it low action. And figure high output strings with more mass might work well on the bird.
nice looking...beautiful finish...congrats..Nope, 2015
Nope. It’s the ‘15 with the tapped DeCola’s.is that active?

Yep. You stole yours. Mine was $999.99 when they blew them out via GC near the end of ‘15. They are mostly now in their forever homes. Very occasionally you will see one under 2k when the seller has no clue what it is.Yowza, this is the only 2015 I can find that’s available for sale. I hope that price is for real.

if you had to choose between that and the 70's?Yep. You stole yours. Mine was $999.99 when they blew them out via GC near the end of ‘15. They are mostly now in their forever homes. Very occasionally you will see one under 2k when the seller has no clue what it is.
Well, I don’t have to. That’s the good thing. I am in love with the ‘77. But having had the ‘15 for almost 10 years and playing it so much, it’s a part of me. I can see the ‘77 getting there at some point for me. But if you forced me to choose today…I’d run away with both of them and hide.if you had to choose between that and the 70's?
