On board ocraver? Huh.compressor, tube pre, octaver...reliability...
Curious what it can do for you that your Trace Elliot doesn't.

And it sound good. I use it occasionally, the tube and comp are always on.On board ocraver? Huh.
It really isn't worth it. I hit the wall, just couldn't do it anymore. Such a relief when I made the decision to finish up.My last job would get me stressed to the point of nausea. It is not worth it.
Mine has 2 compressors (low & high) and a tube preamp. However, there is no octaver and reliability is an unknown. I had several pots and switches replaced and hoping that is all for a while. As much as people claim Trace is bulletproof, owning one old amp from a company that is no longer in business would be risky for a gigging musician. That's why I have several "backups", even tho I am not gigging right now.compressor, tube pre, octaver...reliability...
What gig?
Hmmm....cracking and weirdness coming out of the Line Out or the cab? I get this may be difficult to differentiate and remember mid show..The last being the most important, since I sent it to you, it's been in the shop once, ( crackled while I was playing live, after which it hummed) and needs to go again for the same issue - much as I love it, it's not in a reliable state. Frank thinks the solder joints are all done with silver solder, which I guess is brittle.... Regardless, we're playing in front a big crowd next month and I can't have an amp going down mid-show.
first I hear bulletproof to describe TE stuff, I always heard/read (gigged a months old 250 combo that quickly developed a preamp issue as well) otherwise....may be perceptional, when they work and sound as intended they definitely sound bulletproof....Mine has 2 compressors (low & high) and a tube preamp. Yeah, we left him there and went for a beerKeyboard player that bad that everyone just walked off and left?![]()
Had this for a while. Think it is a 2000 but serial and pots are hard to read. To my knowledge, this was a custom order of 20 Thunderbirds for Sam Ash. 18 white and 2 in black. Anybody heard of this?
