That looks great. It's not saw dust on top, right?

Just ordered a claw from Philadelphia luthier. If anything I’ll drill it out since it’s a non original, reversable upgrade.I'm not able to compare right now, but you might be able to use the claw from an Epi VP, 60s, now 64 bass (Phil Luthier may have just the claw as well). The slot may be wider or you could modify it so that it is. You would have to make sure the screws line up with the holes. You don't want to drill into the bass. Just keep the old claw if you ever sell it.
Are there oyster Pop-Tarts?The Burmese that we helped get here over the years use fish paste in everything it seems. Pop-Tarts too no doubt. I no go there. Just not my thing. They also eat some of the hottest/spicy food on earth. We're talking drain cleaner hot. Their little kids could eat a Kingsford briquet as a snack. The kids even warn Americans about eating certain things.
For a while there was this Jazz obsession in the Houston/Galveston area, that and Teles- no Strats or P-Basses. A couple years ago I saw a bassist at a local club and asked him about his P-bass and he said it was a loaner from a friend because his Jazz was being worked on.I suspect it depends on genre and locale. I see Pbasses played around Austin, but more not-Pbasses played.
I've heard that recently from band members in the Houston/Galveston area- the engineer says, "Put away your 5000 dollar boutique bass and use that battered house Precision sitting in the corner."I haven't recorded in a studio since the early 70's(Criteria, FWIW), but I've heard that some sound engineers want a PBass for the session 'cos they know how to EQ for it. Move some controls, dummy.
Who’s idea was it to put saw dust and raisins on mashed potatoes?
That is a beautiful place.
Sounds like a challenge to me. I eat stuff that would kill a normal person. The Burmese that we helped get here over the years use fish paste in everything it seems. Pop-Tarts too no doubt. You were clearly chosen by a Thunderbird then. That's how it happens.Just ordered a claw from Philadelphia luthier. If anything I’ll drill it out since it’s a non original, reversable upgrade.
Man the more I play it the more I like this bass. Y’all ever play a Squier rascal? It’s kind of like that but with more top end and “oomph”.
Out of my 10 years of being a bassist and trying hundreds of different basses, including gibsons, I never thought I’d be a Tbird guy but it seems to be a match made in heaven.

I guess everything was game pre refrigeration.... 1st century Roman fish sauce (Garum) factory under emperor Baelo Claudius..The Burmese that we helped get here over the years use fish paste in everything it seems. I love lamb and cook it many different ways but cooked in fermented yogurt isn’t one of them.

My answer/question to the "engineer" would be "do the letters f.o. mean anything to you?"I've heard that recently from band members in the Houston/Galveston area- the engineer says, "Put away your 5000 dollar boutique bass and use that battered house Precision sitting in the corner."
