If someone thinks they're getting a brand new Gibson Thunderbird for $325, they'll probably love it. I think the only ones who should be upset about this is Gibson.
Gibson has design trademarks on the bass body and headstock shape (and likely other aspects).
First pass: I may make my "spirit animal*" a little smaller, and move it maybe a half inch more toward center along the same line: it's too close to the screw holes here.
Won't be any doubt that it is not pretending to be anything "Gibson," other than my best attempt at a tribute to the original.

Warm evening at the museum - It's cold here at work today.
As I approach my 74th trip around Sol this year, I realize I can now decide on a few things, also the only group I respect enough to share/solicit opinions are my friends here on the Thunderbird group.
For those of you with enough Sol cycles to decide (I'll probably not buy another bass).
What is your favorite bass? Mine is my 2014 Thunderbird.
What is you're best bass (if not the same)? Mine is my SJ5XXX (easily the best playing bass I've ever owned/played)
And finally what is your favorite song? As an avowed Beatles fan, I thought it would be one of their's, but upon reflection, shockingly mine is McArthur Park (I know, I know, many hate it). But it touches a chord within me, and also takes me back 50 years to a time and place.
