Actually I haven't, and for what ever reason, it just doesn't apeal to me.
I had a friend that vaped. I tried his & liked it a lot. Before just jumpin' into it though, I spent quite a lot of time researching it. Then I went & spent sometime talking with the guys at a local vape shop, just learning about it. When I finally took the plunge. It's been AWESOME!!! I'm a huge fan. The first time I quit, was hell! I kicked it for 6 years before I started back up (on accounta the fact that I'm so thmart). With vaping... quitting smoking was a breeze! If you wanna talk more about it, shoot me a PM!

On Acoustic guitars and Taylor Swift encouraging young girls to play. That's great. Good on them I hope they love it.

I read the acoustics overtaking electrics in sales bit to my wife and she immediately said "Ed Sheeran". I found that interesting. Perphaps then there are two very popular performers ATM that are known for playing acoustic guitars. I guess that may have an effect on sales, otherwise why do the guitar companies sign them up as ambassadors? You also have the traditional acoustic players, people like Colin Hay and Tommy Emmanuel (tho he scares me away from even trying to learn) and thousands of others out there. Plus in Country (Oz anyway) there are seemingly always a few acoustic players whenever a few groups gather.

My point, I forgot now... no, what I'm saying is acoustic guitars never went away, they were always visible if not prominent. Add in a couple of attractive, personable, top sellers like TS & ES and no wonder they are selling strongly.

Ever since he bought Gibson... Henry Juszkiewicz has been determined to flush that company down the drain. He is a non-player, and has had some of the worst ideas in their history. He's a business man, and he's making decisions for artists with whom he cannot relate. He doesn't listen to his customers... he listens to stuffed suits that spew BS about market research & profit margins. He's been completely open about a goal that he's been working on for a few years now. He wants to turn Gibson into some kind of elitist, "upper echelon" name. He's been intentionally inflating prices, weeding out lower cost models, and stepping up the Epiphone name to pick up the customers that Gibson loses. He doesn't want "regular folks" to be able to afford a "real Gibson". As for me... I would thoroughly enjoy having the opportunity to let him compare a Gibson to an Epiphone by crackin' him in the head with one of each! It would be fun to see if he could tell the difference!
So agreed, but somehow greed just ruins all that.

Greed is not the problem. If Gibson were producing product that people wanted at prices that were attractive to them, they would be rolling in profits. The enemy here is bad ideas and bad execution. From the few bits and pieces that I have read, Gibson serves the ego of one individual who believes himself to be infallible despite evidence to the contrary. This is compounded by poor execution - the inability to produce a consistent product.

That really was my point, I just didn't articulate that.

The Warwick Corvette Taranis also ships at BEAD. Me thinks they had the NuMetal crowd in mind. The aesthetics of the T-bird Goth plus the BEAD tuning kinda leads us in that direction as well
Probably not, since nu-metal kinda ran out of gas like a decade ago.

But it's 'original'. Maybe they played it in it's untuned state. Out in Gen Pop a few months back there was someone claiming that tuning is an 'effect' because it changes the way your instrument sounds.
Seriously? Tuning an effect?

Original is overrated.

I have a lousy voice, in my opinion. It sounds like a cross between a starling and a toad swallowing. It's that murky color that you see at the bottom of a stagnant puddle after a few months. But, why not go for it anyway. I have sung for a wedding. The wedding party was happy. I think they were drunk. But it's rock and roll, so it's all good.
I hate my own voice. It's both low and nasal simultaneously, making me always sound super dopey.

Someone needs to rescue the company from him.

But you can put your weed in there.

Milton Friedman is basically a bad cartoon villain.

We will have to give credit where credit is due though, Cataldo, Thunderbucker Ranch.
There's a few more but you get what I'm sayin.

Edit: I can't speak for them, but I believe there desire is to produce something of quality and worth.
Hm... it certainly would be interesting to hear what O.H. Gibson would have to say about his company today...

The vape does emit some sort of gas though.

But not my cup of tea.
Not true my friend. There are a lot of untruths about vaping in the public consciousness. As we all know... big tobacco is in the eye's, ears, and wallets of Washington DC. They have lost billions of dollars in revenue, and will lose billions more. Perhaps they can even see their demise. Online, you can find research results and interviews with medical professionals, & lots of other stuff, that will surprise you. Most of the best information comes from England, where they don't have a "special interest group" that stands to lose so much by letting the facts be known.

I'mma shut up about it now... but anybody that wants to, is welcomed to PM me.

That post was either a troll, or an ultra newb who didn't understand the basics.

The goth was certainly NOT bead from the factory. And not "d standard" either. They come strung and set up for eadg like everything else. Even putting a .115 on for drop C required me to crimp the string in order to get it to fit in the bridge.

Don't let that guy troll us into thinking nu metal bead goths.

The corvette tyranis was a unique beast in that regard. The rest of the world modifies their nut and setup to go bead

Oh... well... NOW yer just talking' crazy... whynahell would anybody quit smoking' "not tobacee"??? Yer on yer own on this one...o_O

And I was just getting ready to crash out, got more driving to do in the morning, my niece is counting on me, she's gonna know I'm all whacked out from being on TB till all hours of the night.
