Have you considered vaping at all?

Actually I haven't, and for what ever reason, it just doesn't apeal to me.

I'll just leave this here: Google

Was wondering when someone else would chime in with real info. I did notice the poster didn't reply to my question about what size strings came on it.

I'd just assume that not everyone has dial calipers or micrometers and without the packaging for the strings, most folks couldn't tell you their strings' diameters.

Breathe man... breathe! It's cool... it's cool... she's not here bro. Goolookin' out...:cautious:

Actually... my staggeringly brilliant, soon to be 17 year old, has finished high school already! In fact... she scored a 1380 on her SATs... at 16 years old!!! I have nnnooooooo idea where she got that from! As she did last summer... she's living with friends & family in northern Michigan, working 40-60 hour weeks in a bakery, and she'll be starting college in the Fall. Her passion is music (now that I think I can take at least partial credit for). Her last birthday, it was an electric guitar. Christmas brought an acoustic (and a ukulele from her baby Sis). Several times over the past couple of years, she's expressed interest in the bass, and after a recent chat with her sister... yup... now is the time, and T-bird Goth is the bass. It just fits!:D:bassist::thumbsup:

That's awesome Fix, these are the things I like to hear. If we can cultivate the young ones to carry on the tradition, and keep the arts going, we may stand a chance in this world.
Good job bro!

Clean Subie with new 60K Goodyear's, and my Lull T4.

Whoa your friggin' Amazing are you kidding me?!. That is right and you are Amazing!. I pulled out the .47 that came with it and I put in a Sprague Orange Tone Drop that was too heavy and it bottomed out too deep and robbed my volume and my highs. That was over a year ago when I got the Bird with the original pick up but today I put in the original .47 tone drop and it sounds amazing living with my Ric pickups.

There were a few people here that replaced the tone pot in their Epi with a 7ender TBX tone circuit. They said it really opened the sound of the bass up. It's a cheap upgrade to try.

Yes... it's true that diacetyl causes popcorn lung. It's also true that diacetyl used to be found in certain varieties of e-juice. Did you happen to see any articles about how manufacturers haven't used diacetyl in their e-juices in years? If they want to stay in business as an e-juice manufacturer, they can't. I'm sure big tobacco is thrilled that you feel that way. Even if they did use diacetyl, it's safer than smoking... and the single most effective "stop-smoking" aid that has ever been invented. The undergarments of big tobacco execs are filled with commercial sized clay fired bricks, and they use billions of dollars & heavy influence in Washington, to make sure you think vaping is "the devil". The truth is... people have been dying from smoking related diseases since the dawn of smoking, while the death count from vaping remains at zero. Sorry to get all "X-filesy" on ya... but the truth is out there. Ya might hafta dig a little deeper than the first page of Google results to find it. Consider the possibilities... the global effect... if what I'm saying is true.

Again... if anybody would like to discuss the matter further, I'll encourage you to send me a PM.

I have the TBX in a couple basses - they were 1st made in the early 80's and are a simple and effective addition to experiment with. It's essentially a stacked pot with one shaft/knob which mimics a standard tone pot from off to center detent and from center to full it 'enhances' the character of the tone in an almost 'active' way. (it's passive though) And as Nocturnal pointed out - it's cheap so if you don't like it it's no big expense. (about $12?)
