That 64 bird is in much worse shape than mine but they’re asking a lot more.

Just to prove I'm terminally weird, I was 'into' Miles(and alotta other jazz)as I went from h.s. to USN, but kinda lost interest after that. Usually it works the other way 'round.
I used Chromes almost exclusively 'til @JJR58 turned me on to EBCFs. Thanks again, Jeff. Nothing wrong with Chromes, just like EBCFs more.
How dyou like the full scale DA plexi bass on the left? i've got one, had it for years now, but have built a new 31" scale neck for it (still under construction, not missing much).Shout out for the Epiphone EB 3.
Mine is a 2018. Got it for a steal from Sweetwater new.
I think it’s more solid and better playing than an EB3 I had in the 70’s. And long scale to boot.
The stock pickups sound fine to me after putting a set of RS 66’s on it.
I’ve been going through my collection of stuff after knee replacement in December.
This one was hiding in a closet.
Recommend,especially if the come up cheap on CL or marketplace.

Edit..The dust has been cleaned off of the headstock now. I guess I should be checking these more often.

I miss working on cars, I've got my eye on an old Ford Zephyr from late 50's-early 60's, it's in "rough" condition, but if i'm able to acquire it, i've got ideas to bring it back from its slow demise.
I was so happy when I found it in the closet. 3” too!
I kinda like the Armstrong knock off.
Definitely like the 34 inch neck. Sorta what pushed the purchase.
It does weigh in at 11.32 pounds.
I’ve used it live..the down side is that it makes me look fat.
I actually liked the sound of Chromes.
They just had too much tension for me.
But the EBCF’s are like magic.
TBH, I've never really paid attention to tension. As long as the strings felt and sounded good, I was 'happy', but the EBCFs give me all the bottom I want while allowing me to get a bit more clarity.
Chromes are the only flats I’ve ever really liked. Ten years on my very simple P bass. It just works.

That's what I was thinking. Your front looks way better for sure. (Yeah I know--low hanging Ahem! fruit there. Well, maybe multiples.) I assume it didn't have "the repair," but considering a good repair should be more durable than a non repaired neck, for a bass that's going to be used, a repair kind of makes more sense in a lot of ways.
