You could make a Pelican gun case work for a NR. It's expensive and you have to customize the foam yourself. Other than that, it will work perfectly. You can even get a tan one so it kinda looks like a Gibson case. Covering the foam with pink satin to get the full Gibson experience would take a bit of work, but I'm sure it can be done well enough.
Not a big fan of burnt orange on cars, but this orange is gorgeous!Funny thing with orange, generally I don’t like them but others I like a lot.
Your AMX I like a lot. Holden’s “Lone O’Ranger” I like a lot. The modern “burnt orange” colours I don’t like at all. But I guess one day I’ll see one I do like.
Restored back in original Lone O’Ranger - so probably better than original paint.

1970s paint colour names!
Holden had a green they called “March 17th”.
and a lilac they called “Barney’s Shirt” (after a designer that wore a shirt that colour they mixed a paint colour to match! It didn’t make production but it’s on a couple of paint test cars that were on sold to the public).
It's a bit of a challenge to play and sing the BG vocals. The form also changes.JTTW has a a crazy bass line. Crazy being good and one I likely can't play.
former....would prefer latter....Sorry, I thought this was your AMX that you are repainting…
Just dawning on me that it might be a second AMX ???
when are you going to get one of those? we could race..Funny thing with orange, generally I don’t like them but others I like a lot.

Monaro?Probably, but I’m putting lottery tickets in
Also the AMX wouldn’t be 40k here unless it was a Flintstones car
Yeah, that orange one is a Monaro.Monaro?
no 307 after 70....good thing....Yeah, that orange one is a Monaro.
A HQ series, so 71-74, available in 253, 308 or 350 V8’s (plus 2x 6s).
Not mine(52").There are also custom makers. I suppose if I dropped $7500.00 or more, it could be worth getting a good case made if it would be going anywhere on a regular basis. Personally, if I ever buy a vintage NR, I can use the case from the ‘13, ‘21, or a BaCH.
Unless you're doing a TDN tribute, nobody's gonna know if it isn't note for note. Get the important passages and wing the rest.Easy enough to improvise. Only your bandmates know for sure.
But not with the headstock.Knock them out.
