Scrape that.
Even starts out on bass. And is live.
I saw Rick do that song live at the Palomino (aka “Cougartown”) a few times back in the day.

Thunderbirds should be ebony, EBs are usually rosewood.
in a straight line too! what caught my eye as well.....I like the "bringing the wife to work" comment.. ..I'm impressed with anyone who can run like that in boots like that with heels like that. That's an engineering marvel.
Sweet! Thanks for the heads up!Just watched this tonight from Amazon Prime. Really good. About the music not the drama.

Was it Tommy Aldridge on the drums? Who later played with Pat Travers among others-Always thought Jim Dandy had to be the inspiration for David Lee Roth. Didn't mind the music for the time, but couldn't stand Dandy's voice. Like Kermit the frog on coke or something.
John Bonham was kind of famous for doing drum solos with his hands. The dude from BOA was actually doing it before Bonham was.
With southern bands being mentioned I got to mention these guys-
him and Cowling could build a wall of groove....Was it Tommy Aldridge on the drums? Who later played with Pat Travers among others-
No spare 10K just laying around, this one's just a few miles from me.

Yeah, I love Cinderella! The bass is in this vid.
Nice '64 II here, amongst other things.
I knew a woman who could run in spike heels with skimpy sandal straps. It was pretty impressive. She was not engineered like Jungle Pam, though. Still a marvel.I'm impressed with anyone who can run like that in boots like that with heels like that. That's an engineering marvel.
Believe it nor not, Mars could build a pretty good wall with Nico McBrain as well- who would'v e thought?him and Cowling could build a wall of groove....

My next Tbird project has a Macassar Ebony fretboard, love the warm creamy look of macassar. Should start on the build soon…Thanks, pretty much what I found out. I should have put EB0/EB3 instead of EB.
That said, I was lucky enough to find a '68 tugbar for my '69 EB3.
It's important to remember Ebony comes in many shades of black to brown. The blocks on my avatar SJ5XXX Dingwall were specifically selected by Sheldon from the lightest brown ebony he could find.
The brown in my '68 tugbar is a very dark brown with a swirl of semi-dark brown in it.
I've seen some to die fof Pale Moon Ebony fretboards.
Beautiful bass! From the looks it is neck-thru? Interesting thing to me with the Thunderbird basses and Firebird guitars, at least with the reverse models, it goes way beyond the neck width continuing through the body like with my Thumb NT or my Spector LX, but rather a much larger piece that the neck tapers down to in the body section. At least that is my perception-My next Tbird project has a Macassar Ebony fretboard, love the warm creamy look of macassar. Should start on the build soon…
