I get that from my wife about the Blackbird."Honey, where's my bass?"
"You mean the one with the satanic symbols?"
From a vignette that came to me during last night's bout of insomnia-

My Daughter was allergic to anything out of water so I quit eating seafood outta respect. I don't miss it.Meant to ask earlier- is it a sensitivity? A firiend who once lived in San Francisco ate too many crabs as a kid and developed a sensitivity to seafood protiens- Sounds odd I know but apparently there were street vendors in the early-70's who sold the cooked crab, making them readily available -
I'm good with the last 2.No, these were raw on the half shell with sauterne cider pickled foie gras, shallot mignonetteWent well with two Manhattans, a Wagyu tenderloin and some gnocchi.
I'll elaborate on it later today or tomorrow when I've got it properly sketched out -I get that from my wife about the Blackbird.
@MCF
I think this is the one I mean. Check out the one armed didgeridoo player.
I'm good with the last 2.
That is amazing! Cute girls, a didgeridoo, a singing audience, and awesome Thunderbird tone! It does not get any better than that!
When I get a band we’re definitely doing this one.
The Habits should add it to their set list.
I would be fine with the two Manhattans. Or four.I'm good with the last 2.
Excellent! What a fun song to play. I think Sophie will nail the Vocs. We'll start working it up in two weeks. It's a great song, the groove thru the verses is a mile wide - I'll plow that!
Lots of Thunderbird II tearin' it up in this great song from Midnight Oil. I had not heard this until very recently, love the lyrics too.
Some bands are all about the music. Some are more about the show. Tull delivered massively on both fronts. He was dressed like that when I saw the on the "Passion Play" tour, they were so good live, nothing at all like the sloppy boring mess that LZ was when I suffered them.
Kale has its place in salads, on burgers, etc. But you have to know what you're doing.I like a good spinach/bacon omelet.., but kale... no thanks ~
I very much preferred the 60s / early 70s BeeGees songs but they were great musicians in each era.I've always loved The Bee Gee's, especially songs from their early period. I have a Bee Gee's Greatest Hits and every song is a winner!
That was my thought. Someone wants to retire early.IDK, but my guess is that some senior member asks for it to be early.
But you won’t find these all day long for $1500 in custom finishes. If you can refinish it yourself it’s not a bad price.
But if you send it out for a finish job it’s gonna cost at least $500 plus shipping. You can find these all day long in great condition for $1500 or less. Hard pass for this non self finisher.

That looks great!Something I can’t get otherwise.
So I found a guy recommended by my luthier who does refin’s about 15 minutes from me.
They range from 250-400 for a body repaint, or strip and refin.
Since I’m putting back to together my black J, I found it appropriate to do this to the HS, in nitro.
For 50 bucks, he did beyond such a precise and clean job.
Basses are gonna get dinged.
I don’t care, if it’s from playing it.
Only from carelessness is when it’s a drag.

Give me a day and you'll see- but no spoilers before the fact-“It’s gone, probably down the hole that was burned into the floor right where the bass had been.”
