The setup was recording through a 1965 Ampeg B-15NC mic'd with a Behringer B906 into a Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD audio interface and recorded with Waveform 11. The EQ on the B-15NC was flat.

Strings used:
SIT Power Steel - 1964 Gibson Thunderbird II, 2015 Gibson Thunderbird
SIT Power Flat - 2017 Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage Pro "Willbird", 2021 Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage Pro
Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats - 2014 Epiphone Thunderbird Classic Pro

I'll have to finish latter, but love the first sample. Of course SS with felts is something of a tug of war, but I liked it. I got the S. Duncans on the VP and thought the neck only compared to the the '64. was really close. Only using the Macbook M3 Pro speakers.

My ear isn't all that great, but glad someone with talent thinks the Willbird can get close to the 64, that was the whole reason for modding that VP. As a side note, I eventually put SIT Power Flat strings on the 64. I felt that is likely closer to what it had on it out of the Gibson factory in 1964.
