1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo that wasn't exactly stock. I got around CA's smog requirements by registering it at my brother's house in Tuolumne County, one of the few CA counties exempt from biennial smog tests. What is that? Besides cozy and sexy?
Example: Carl YastrzemskiIt’s kinda like the “Six degrees of Kevin Bacon” game around here. No topic in this forum is more than six degrees of separation from a Thunderbird.
Example - Steak Tartare…
1 - comes from cows
2 - cows eat grass and weeds
3 - The Who band undoubtedly at some point smoked grass and weed
4 - John Entwistle was the bass player in The Who band
5 - at one time Entwistle played a Thunderbird
See how simple that is![]()
Ok so, um, do Thunderbirds have anything to do with Chuck Norris and/or the number 42 ?
He didn't equate them. Just bragging on something braggable!LOL - that’s like saying College Park Airport (KCGS) in Maryland which is the longest continuously operated airport in the country (opened in 1909 by the Wright Brothers and still operates today) is where flight originated - not Kitty Hawk in 1903.
As a NorCal born native who has lived in both Northern and Southern California I gotta give the Drag Racing nod to SoCal.
Now if you want to credit the Hippie movement to a specific area I’d guess it originated in NorCal. Most likely San Francisco and probably around the Haight-Ashbury area.
Since 42 is a subset of 420, there's definitely a connection with 42. After all, musicians.Ok so, um, do Thunderbirds have anything to do with Chuck Norris and/or the number 42 ?
thought those were FWD..1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo that wasn't exactly stock. I got around CA's smog requirements by registering it at my brother's house in Tuolumne County, one of the few CA counties exempt from biennial smog tests.

Not the turbo versions. They were 4WD (fixed center differential 55/45 split). They were also all wheel steering with in-phase rear wheels at speed. That takes some getting used to as it put the pivot point in the center of the car.thought those were FWD..
Jackie Robinson wore #42. He sadly passed away way too soon in 1972. But he no doubt heard songs played on Thunderbirds.Since 42 is a subset of 420, there's definitely a connection with 42. After all, musicians.
That is why you let somebody else do the work.I raced there for many years when they ran the Wednesday Night Sport Drags and I had a car that actually could turn 12s. Of course, you needed a shoe horn to work on the engine bay

We all agree on one thing, though. Thunderbirds.^ What he said.^
Multiple and conflicting.![]()
