Those seem like cool amps.
Personal ignorance here and serious question: what's the point of having huge 1000w amps? I know if a person is in a loud band, outdoors, no PA support, and possibly a few other things it could be needed. But if you have PA, is it really necessary, or to my real question, is there some mechanical reason or things that happen that call for mucho watts other just clean tone? I have never needed more than 300w. Even played outdoor once with a supplied backline non-huge combo. I've mentioned before, J.T. plays stadiums with a single 45w head and he uses wedges not IEMs. It's not an Uncle Ted concert but they tastefully get with it volume wise. So in Pino's case, is it he just likes the tone of the amp given he always has top level PA?
