Thunderbird Club

That is a great picture of you and the Birds! I am waiting for a flight to New Orleans and hoping both me and my luggage arrive. Departure delayed, shortening transfer time in Denver.
Going to break away from conference for a little tourist time. Anyone have any suggestions for great shops, clubs or restaurants in the Big Easy?
Take care folks, enjoy the change of seasons.
Oh man! I used to spend about a week of every month there for work. There’s so many good spots to eat.

I highly recommend spending an entire day at the WWII museum. I planned 4 hours there, and missed so much because they closed around 4 or 5 if I recall.

Food wise, I’ve had just about every chargrilled oyster in the city and Dragos is my favorite. They have a couple locations. Frenchman street is where all the great jazz clubs are, so definitely hit that up on in the evenings. I honestly avoided bourbon street like the plague.

It’s really hard to find bad food in the city, but here’s a list of some of my favorites:

La petit grocery
Coops
Patois
Husky
Jacque imo’s
Maple leaf bar if wait jacque’s
Polo lounge
Irene’s

Activity wise, I honestly love taking the street car and going through the garden district. Make sure to bring cash for the street car. Any of the guided history street tours are great too.

Thank you much Lammchop, I appreciate all your suggestions. Hoping we depart soon! Take care.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man ... a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

How would you describe your EICH cab sounding? My 15" w/adjustable tweeter & port cab sounds very clean/neutral whereas my '76 Ampeg B15N ported cab w/a late '60s JBL D140R 15" speaker has a very chocolatey tone that only that speaker in that cab produces.

A nifty tilt-option although I've never used it -

You pretty much nailed it Geo.
I absolutely love the cab.

So much so, wish I could get another one.
But it’s kinda unobtainable.
I don’t even care that it’s rear ported
That’s easy to control.
And I don’t use the tweeter at all.

Just happy I have what I have.

How are you liking the new DI?
It’s everything I could ever ask for, Marshall.
Punchy, tight and articulate.
Has a heft and clarity to any note played on the fretboard.

Nothing like this that I’ve ever heard before.
Match made in heaven with my TB1200.
Like two happy kids playing in the sandbox together.

Today's selections mesh well with your theme...

Are you running that Subway pre to the Fender's input? I'm using a Subway head and I'm really liking it.
