Black bears in So Cal were basically extinct for several decades before 1932 when the then head of CDFW, who owned a hotel in San Bernardino, imported some from Yosemite so his guests could “experience” them. They have repopulated the mountains down here to the point that they have become a major nuisance. Now there is a bill pending to restore the currently extinct grizzly population. What could go wrong?

I have never tuned down (or used my drop D) either. Maybe I should have, but so far it's working for what I do.
But if I do have to play parts higher with less beef than I like, I will use the Sub Harmonic magic button on the Ashdown ABM to add some lows back in. Problem solved.
