Thunderbird Club

Ask both sellers for more pics. If they each provide the same pics then its way to fishy to pass the smell test.
Second account seems A LOT more legit
"Hello,
Sorry for late reply.

Natural color finish is the original, it seems that the number of manufactured items is about 237 in 1977.
So the bass is very rare one.
There is a crack repair history in the head. There is no problem with restoration by professional.
Please check attached pictures in this message.
In addition, there is an exchange of Jack. There is a trace of attaching the strap pin.

If you have any question, please ask me.

Best regards,
(persons name I'm going to leave out) "

They actually sent me pics of the head stock repair that was EXCELLENTLY done if done at all, it almost looks like it's just a hairline crack.

That's a fairly good and thorough reply.

This guy at least knows what he has and is open about it.

I'm a frequent flyer; three to five times a month.
Gawd! I would hate that. You won't be hearing me complain to you about flying around. Everyone else will, though. I have to inspect places all over the western US, which means being stuck on the plane for a while. Given a choice, I'll always take an Alaska flight, because they seem to have their act together far better than the major airlines. American Airlines is a little like dealing with the IRS. I actually prefer the puddle jumpers.

I see in the background a couple more Thunderbirds, a Jack Casady, and what looks like the new Embassy.
Is that an Embassy or a 2013 - 2014 EB? I can't tell. Maybe Gibson has just moved production of that bass over to Epiphone and will call them Embassy now. I hope so. It would be a shame to let that upgrade to the usual FSO disappear from production forever.
