You'll probably want to make sure the weather is nice before you join. The initiation can be a real pain in bad weather. Welcome to talk bass and its best club. How do I join the Thunderbird Club?
What!? No initiation ritual for the new guy?! No naked run through town? No butt bow? You're going soft, Mark.

Sir, yes Sir!!!Hey, Fixer. I figured you were taking a breather. Glad to see you're back. Still loving your TBird?
I was wondering where you went off to, the amount of daily posts and likes seemed lowAs many of you are aware... a few days ago, I put on my asshat and made a fool of myself. I sincerely apologize for disrupting the normal state of peace and good vibes that radiate from this great place. I was out of line, and didn't handle the situation appropriately. I do consider myself fortunate to be a part of this group, and appreciate the mentoring, advice, and perspective that you've shared with me. I will be be more careful about keeping "that guy" in check.![]()
Yeah... well... this time it was me that turned the molehill into a mountain. Sometimes I ain't the brightest feller...I was wondering where you went off to, the amount of daily posts and likes seemed low
I don't think anyone here really took it to heart, if they did they need to realize this is the interweb and opinions will clash. And with the amount of people here there's bound to be disruption, hell there's been disruption since then.

Dang it, Larry!
I was going to spring that on him![]()
Exactly because chances are if they find out the ritual before, then they'll be less likely to want to join.Yeah, the secret is to get the mark to sign up and then spring the scary initiation ritual on them...
You people are just not sneaky or evil enough.
At least yer smart enough to use screws! Nails tend to work their way out over time...Screw you! (Now I am that guy...) Welcome back!![]()
So @JJR58 - two Birds eh? One white, one black? One with a single pickup? One with stock knobs, the other with abalone speed knobs?
It can't be one strung with flats because it's actually illegal to string a Bird with flats.
