Can't say i'm much of a car freak, but stumbled upon these about 2 years ago.
But i'll take my cousins Cayman any day of the week.

OMG - a friend inherited a mid 70's T-bird and it had a hood like an aircraft carrier! That and sitting inside was cramped! Many cars from that era suffered from this same growth hormone. There was a Ford Ranchero (not sure the year) that is so bizarre it's actually cool - the small 2 seater cockpit is dead center of a really long hood and equally long tail!

Good call on the Cayman. I've had a Cayman S for about 4 years now. It's easily the best handling street car I've ever owned or driven. With the right tires its also an excellent track car and a blast to drive. Plus I can haul two basses in gig bags in the rear trunk and a 410 cab with SS amp in the front trunk.

As much as I would LOVE this, I have bad GAS for a 60's EB-3.
Jackson Thunderbird bass 1994-5 Black
and it's located in SUNNYVALE ( @PillO ) (Yes I know it's not the same sunnyvale but that's not the point)

Good call on the Cayman. I've had a Cayman S for about 4 years now. It's easily the best handling street car I've ever owned or driven. With the right tires its also an excellent track car and a blast to drive. Plus I can haul two basses in gig bags in the rear trunk and a 410 cab with SS amp in the front trunk.

That Cayman is a terror, certainly not death proof. Super fast, handles great. Have to keep myself in check when I drive it.

This is one of the times when American veers so far away from standard English: hood, trunk, tires...

The original 'trunks' were just that...or do you call a steamer trunk a steamer boot? Bonnet...seriously, made of gingham? Tyre/tire, whatever. Drophead, now there's one, still in use? I'm surprised doors aren't called 'side ports'.

LOL - Kat if it makes you feel better I can use the Porsche owner term for the trunk located in the front of the car. It's called a Frunk. So by Porsche owner lingo my Cayman has a rear hatch and a Frunk. We save the boot and bonnet lingo for the Jaguar owners.

That Jackson is pretty cool looking but those saddles on the bridge look way messed up.
