("have you ever been experienced?") ...curious, what does a 7" look like? (a 7" what?)
Back in the early 90s when I was an adult under drinking age, I tried to put a punk band together called Cock. So we could put out a 7" called 7 inches of Cock. The idea came from the canadian reggae rapper Snow who had the one hit wonder "informer" about the same time, and the album was called 12 inches of Snow.
Of course the 7"s I was thinking of are the ones common among punk rock bands, 33rpm with small holes, an ep with 2-3 or more songs per side. I had all of my mom's 60s 7" 45s, and during the 80s I bought 7" singles from peter schilling, def leppard, ratt, oingo boingo (which was given to me in middle school, promoters were handing them out). I hope they are intact. I fear I lost track of the 60s ones, and they might have gotten swiped.
They weren't in collector condition, they were well worn in. Lots of stones, Beatles, zombies etc... Some.Motown, lots of RCA but I don't think she had any stax, I don't think that was as prevalent in 5 towns long island back then
The last pic looks like a still from Roger Ramjet !glad I'm not crazy, nor on a bunch of ignore lists (at least not among this crowd yet lol)

Likely not, as the navy carries the blue angels, the thunderbirds are the air force, and they have a bit of a rivalry I hear
The birds at the first ever Huntington Beach airshow last fall. The blue angels are doing it this year. It was my first time seeing them, but I saw the blue angels several time, once in NY the last year they flew A4s, and then several times because I lived near el toro marine base.

Thanks and I know it's rare but so is my Studio V and that's my go to 5 string.
Everything in my collection is for sale for the right price.
If Mikey felt like driving all the way to Fenton, MI. he could have it for $300. He could even have a beer or two or three while he was here but I'd probably make him play a few songs with my kids. He could choose, drums, piano, guitar or bass.
hope I still have them, I don't remember seeing them when I packed out to move over 4 years ago. If they ARE still in storage safe and sound (regretfully I don't think they are, someone probably stole them in the chaos), they would be awesome on my grandmas old GE wall mount tube stereo, the kind that the turntable comes out like a Murphy bed, 3 speed 33/45/78 (perhaps it was 4 with 16 as well). I got it when she died in 81/82. All it really needs is new tubes and a new cartridge. I did take the speakers out to use in some bookshelf speakers when I was a teenager, and had to cut the mounting tabs to make them fit, and accidentally poked a hole in one cone near the edge with a screw, but there was enough left of the tabs to re mount the speakers in the stereo and the hole didn't effect the sound noticeably. But surely it affects the value to a collector. I hear it might be worth some money. It is one of the many things I am holding onto in storage in hopes I can have a house someday to put it in, man cave style. It is furniture grade. The power tubes were even smaller than el84s, one per side, so I wouldnt doubt if it was only a few watts per channel. 8" speakers with whizzer cones, this was 50s or early 60s at the newest. Would match that small stack of 45s from the 60s. And I know I do have 2 crates of LPs I collected, hopefully they aren't warped. Lots of classic rock and new wave I collected from used record shops around the turn of the century. 2 copies of moving pictures in case I ever got twin wheels of steel so I could try to be mixmaster mike with my favorite band

Looks like the Pelham blue limited edition. He is selling for the price they were new, but as I experienced trying to bargain with a pawnshop that had a TV silver, perhaps they hold their value. I don't think it will go for more than $250 though.
Pelham blue and lake placid blue are to my liking, very similar. I regret selling the first fender jazz I bought (and bought new), lake placid blue MIM. NBD of my first American jazz was overwhelming, and then the MIM s had to go. But I wish I had kept the blue one and put proper knobs on it (back then they came with black strat knobs), better pickups and a BAII. But I hated the 7ender logo of the MIMs back then. Lake placid water under the bridge I guess, they went to Australia.
I wouldn't mind a Pelham blue bird, that's for sure. TV silver or gloss ebony would be OK too. Still glowing about my beater white one. Out of all the basses I still own, only the birds are being gigged. I may be going to jam with a "death core" band tonight and I think they play 7 strings so I will be bringing my metallic blue OLP (my only one but since the topic is blue...) Which I recently setup for BEAD.
I emailed Gibson asking about how many left-handed Thunderbirds were made (question I'm always asking), and this was their response:
