Thunderbird Club

I installed a Seymour Duncan "Hawkbucker" (bucker) pu in my '64 T-bird II in'86 or '87. It's rocked from day1. (it was made with T-birds in mind) I know they do many types/varieties, but as far as a great pu company - they are for sure!

No doubt's about Duncan in general. I have 4 basses with Duncan preamps and an SPB3 slated for a fretless shaved P project, don't think I have any Duncan pickups in any basses currently, might have one in a guitar, though most of my Humbucker upgrades were dimarzio.

I just hadn't heard much talk of them in bird land since I have been here. Good to know they are a good option, probably more reasonably priced than lull lollar and.thunderbucker

I used a Car2Go to get the Thunderbird back from the luthier. The case could not have fit more snugly in the Smart car. Back hatch to dashboard.

A meter is a bit longer than a yard, a liter is a tad more than a quart. This is slightly heavier than that, and around is generally closer than near. Well, depending on where you stand.

It amuses me to no end that when Canada went metric in the 70s, it was decided that a Canadian football field would be changed from 100 yards to 100 metres. The Canadian football league then also decided to continue to measure in yards, so the field is 110 yards long with a 55 yard line in the center.
