Thunderbird Club

Someone mentioned a Seymor Duncan T-Bird p'up a tad back...
I'm not aware of a stock Seymour Duncan drop in replacement for a TBird pickup. They do make custom pups. I'd assume a custom would cost a skosh more, in which case it might be worth it. But if it's Boo-Coo bucks more then probably not worth it.

I think the SD custom shop offers a couple of options - Thunderbird pickups for $380 a set and Hawkbuckers for $300 a set. But, their EMG 35 soapbars I think will also fit.

Reggae summer is over, need a new paying gig... looked in on Craigslist, and it's as stupid and perverse as ever. Music gigs are lumped in with "Adult" (lol) models and "services" for frustrated divorcees. Looks like it's time to hit up Facebook.

The face of "Arduous Task", the hero in my upcoming Norse epic. I'll start just as soon as I can land a gig.

$380/set??? I'm a big Seymor Duncan fan... but for that kinda money, I'll mosey on over to the Thunderbucker Ranch;)

Just my opinion and 1/2 a cent. But most custom made Bird p/up's cost. It's all just personal preference and matter of choice. I would only gripe myself if something didn't sound good, there's a lot of price points. Long as you feel you are getting what you paid for.....
