Maybe he forgot it was there. I used to drool sometimes when I played my bass, when looking down at the neck for very long. When I was younger, I mean. I don't do that now, of course.

Before anyone goes slagging bird brains, it's worth considering that corvids use tools, count and otherwise do stuff that many humans appear incapable of doing.
And we think it's cool when parrots talk, but really they are just mocking us.

I've thought I'd want a crow as a pet when I'm older, but apparently they don't want to be pets. I don't blame them, and they're probably just too smart for that.

What's this about birds and their brains. A lot of birds are quite smart, hence the crow mentioned earlier, as well as parrots that have the ability to mimic the noises around them, and Drongos, who know how to hustle animals out of food, such as meerkats, by pretending to work with them as an alert system against predators, and uses that to take the food they found by faking the alarm now and again, the meerkats rarely suspect anything.
Plus the Grey Parrot, the Crow, and the Pigeon are on the top ten list of smartest animals... I think if we're "Birdbrains", then we must be pretty smart.
It's fun how one word can bring havok on this thread... ha ha

Also on a similar note, I fed a pigeon some crumbs from my lunch today, which turned into 28 pigeons and a wren going mental (actual number, I counted
).

Very true in the optics/telescope equipment market as well. Especially occulars and mountings. Everything is an off brand clone and many times done on the side by the same OEM. Copyright and trademark and intellectual property in general is not valued in a communist country that practices state capitalism.
Awesome, thank you for the information. I just found a quick demo online of the pickups. It's not great but I got an idea. I really like the sound of them. I do love the Lull's but sadly I just don't think I can part with that much cash, especially considering nickel rings and spacers add an extra hundred bucks to an already pricey set of pickups. I also really like that the bridge pickup is more powerful with the Thunderbuckers. At this point I think Im going to buy some Lollar and Thunderbuckers and see which one floats my boat more. Any suggestions on internal hardware to accompany the pickups? What pot values, etc?
