Marshall made a 4X15 bass cab in the past. I bet that is a beast to use and to move.
WOW!!! I LOVE the sound of that 4x15 cab! I can see why most guitar players would gravitate to the 12's though (in addition to the size & weight differential).

I can see GKs being a great sound for what you're doing! They have such a "live" punchy sound. I see that workin' out reeeaaallly well for yaI'm definitely a GK guy, looking at an 810rbx right now. Really wanna phase out the ampegs.

Depends on what era of Motley Crue, which I meant to ask what era @wolfkeller is covering, for that reason.I can see GKs being a great sound for what you're doing! They have such a "live" punchy sound. I see that workin' out reeeaaallly well for ya
What amps does Nikki Sixx use live?
Well I obviously haven't played every model Eden out there but the 115, 210, 212 and 410 cabs I've played of theirs all had a very sweet thick rich bottom end (which I really like) with a bit less sizzle on the top than than my GK. I find the majority of GK cabs I've played to be very neutral sounding and really let the tone of your bass come through nicely. GK is my second choice in cabs after Bergantino. You find the Edens dark? A lot of the GK guys seem to love the little EX110 or EX112 for smaller venues/rehearsals. I've never heard one of those OR a Bergantino, though I've heard great things about both.
I wasn't gonna chime in on this one due to my limited experience with 'em... but my review closely matches others I've read, so maybe it will help in some small way.I'm sorry to say it, but that's not particular helpfull replys...
Thanks... This is much more useful...![]()
I'm really curious about this particular 2x12. Anybody familiar with it?I'd probably go back to 12's, but keeping the GK in the mix.
@TBird1958 Someone mentioned you may have crammed a Fender-style pickup under a 'Bird cover at some point, got any advice?
Where have I seen this before? (insert phony looking pondering emoji here)
@TBird1958 I forget if you made mention of selling it or not, but I'm very surprised that you chose to sell this one. (unless there is that very slim chance that there are two in the Seattle area)
Kick @$$ looking bass though

Sometimes we gotta do stuff we don't want to. And a bass can be bought back family can'tThey're both mine, not happy to sell them - but that's a family matter.
Oh, no. I hope everything is ok.They're both mine, not happy to sell them - but that's a family matter.

We cover all eras from too fast to carnival of sin. We have different set/stage shows. We also do girls era and getting ready for Theatre of pain.Depends on what era of Motley Crue, which I meant to ask what era @wolfkeller is covering, for that reason.
I know he used Ampeg for a very long time, and used Basson for awhile as well.
