Thunderbird Club

I wound up getting a 2014 ‘120 Anniversary’ natural. Put in a losing bid on eBay that worked out :)

Not terrible that it’s coming slowly. Kinda need a couple things to sell before it gets here and the girl finds out I bought it :/
You were chosen.

**SPOILER ALERT** (Sorry, I don't know how to use the Spoiler feature)

I found this picture of an Epi NR burst with a tort guard. This is one of the few times I thought tort looked decent on something.

Happy Friday everyone. I thought I would share a picture of my new bass. I have only had her a few days, but am enjoying getting familiar. As someone on here once said, great tone and personality for days.

Congrats! It’s a beauty!

I dunno, I’m not anti-fender, but sunburst and tort just make me think fender.

Not sure...I’m more weirded out by non T Bird pickups on a Bird...just looks, odd to me

Ooh, that one is not for me.

However I’m sure there is a (TBird Club?) constitutional amendment somewhere to allow the right to bear tort ?
So have at it if you will.

For me tort belongs on wayfarer frames. :)

The Epi NR I enquired on has gone cold. He suggested he would send it only in a hard case. I asked him for a $ figure and haven’t heard anything since. Oh well, the ad is still up.
I have also offered to meet him at Newcastle, about 3 1/2 hr drive north of my house and about halfway. Crickets.
