Shortly after the first auction for that white Gibson IV ended... I was talking with a friend of mine (the one who gave me the Les Paul), about watching that end with no bidders. He says, "So you still have that guitar? I thought you were gonna trade it for a bass". I said, "yeah... but it hasn't happened yet". He sez, "GOOD! yer keepin' it!". For the sake of brevity... I'll skip to the part where this Music Man showed up at my place!!!
"Merry Christmas" he said......

Looks like a stripper sneezed on it!!
Joking aside.... SA-WEEETTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As long as I'm in the liner notesI plan onusingstealing that line.
Congrats! I know a lot of folks here like chrome hardware but I think that the red and black combination make this bass look killer.
Well, we ran a bit over 1000 posts in pt.7, we'd better get it going here!
Welcome Walmark, #431 with a beautiful '66 Non Reverse II!

So how does one get a number here?
Tbird
Circa 2012 Epiphone Thunderbird. Five years later, I still love playing it.
Dude! Someone took your `bird!
Ahhh, 90's style case! Nice!
That's why I changed the PG.Congrats! I know a lot of folks here like chrome hardware but I think that the red and black combination make this bass look killer.
Yeah, they always find a way to leave something out lol. They call it a shroud.Looks like the case for my 2001, except mine has that "silk sheet" to cover the bass.
Nice work if you can get it.
I have to check my record collection now. What was it?
Not only that, the 8 hole version in your posting will also eliminate that typical TBird muddy output.Woohoo! Found one for my incoming bird!

I’m torn between this or having one made that covers the entire body. I’m told it completely eliminates neck dive![]()
The friend that gave me the Les Paul, also gave me the StingRay, and demands I keep both (he's a real hardass like that) The downside is, the friend I was gonna sell the Les Paul to, is kinda left out in the cold on this one... but even HE is glad for me! It truly is an amazing gift... and he truly is an amazing friend and person (though I find myself questioning his taste in friends
). I don't know how I could ever reciprocate everything that guy's done for me. He's rescued me from life's quicksand a few times now. He's like a super hero in blue jeans & a T-shirt!
Haven't been here for a couple weeks, drama at home. The Crue tribute has gotten a couple of gigs this month, but on the way to a show, I made a hard turn and had my GK cab slide back and took out the rear window of my Subaru. The next day, the wife woke me up after two hours of sleep to congratulate me on costing 400$ of damage to make 150$. She called it musician math. I call it time to find a 25 year old with Daddy issues.
Sweet! Which 7"? I have some cool stuff, but I don't think anything near that much.
