Thunderbird Club

Ok, way random tangent before I have to tend to family madness. How come no one has thought of this idea.
We open our own bar. It's called, Main Room. It will be located in Seattle. Because that's where headquarters is. Word gets out. All of a sudden the place is jam packed every night. There is so much money rolling in. We can fly in all the great bands here at the club from around the world for guest appearances. House of Blues will have nothing on us.
DUDE!!! That would be a perfect cover for a secret non-profit exporting service that would enable us to put Thunderbirds in the hands of our brothers & sisters overseas (private planes don't endure the same scrutiny ya know;))

Unfortunately, when they came to pick it up a little over a month ago.... it didn't wanna move

I likes you and wants to stay.

Besides Thunderbirds, Even heavy machinery can choose someone.
"Cool Cats" include Caterpillar tractors as well as TBird bass players and Felines. Of course the coolest cats are TBird players that have pet (or befriended feral) cats and a Caterpillar tractor. If you have all three you might just be the coolest cat in this club!

:cool::cool:
What if someone has a dog, and a feral cat.... but haven't befriended it... yet?

Before my time is up I want to get my kicks on old Route 66, does that factor into any part of Arizona to Louisiana?.

Definitely in Arizona and New Mexico. Runs right past my daughters home/work in Flagstaff AZ. If you are ever going to go thru there let me know. Would be happy to buy you a beer!

Have you made the drive from Arizona to Louisiana? Almost 24 hours of Texas with little to change the view.

All part of the "I-10 from Beginning to End" tour. I'll be making that trip for about the twelfth time in 2018. Last time was a 52 hr. marathon, all 2,640 miles, in my then three days new to me twin turbo Z, starting in Santa Monica, 2008. Gonna take a little longer this time.

Partially, gotta start in Chicago like the song says...once was enough for that trip. I actually started from Cleveland with a driveaway Cutlass towing a clapped out '70 911T to Venice,CA in 1981. Turned a good profit in Porsche crazed SoCal, even with all the Midwesten rust.

Ya know... I really shoulda been meteorologist. Where else can you make 6 figures a year by publicly guessing at something you have no control over:roflmao:

We're under a "Winter Weather Advisory" from 7:00pm EST tonight, until 7:00pm EST tomorrow night. Thing is... I've been watching some pretty impressive snowfall, steadily, since I got up! I mean... what happens at 7:00? They gonna send out a guy with a bullhorn & a snowmobile to let us know we're officially experiencing "winter weather"?:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

...and when you get to Santa Monica, the furthest point west on Route 66, we'll split a pitcher!

Edit: same goes for Carlo! Heck, make a cannonball run out of it and have some real fun. In which case I'll buy the beer at Baleen in Redondo.

Tailless cats never care.... tailless dogs (boxers)... are happy as long as they have a toy or you're constantly petting them.

Sounds like my kinda trip!!
I love how everything in that picture, especially the C10 and I wanna say VW Golf MK1, would make me guess it was taken in the late 80's... except your car :roflmao:

I used to have two Farmall H's been doing the rescue dog thing for years. The latest member of our family Sam . He was 6 year's old when we got him, close to eight now. He has pretty bad heart murmur. I hope he's around for as long as possible.
