I assume his ear was clipped when they took his balls. The tail, I dunno, he still twitches his butt where it used to be. Showed up about two years ago, always keeping distance. Until one cold day I put out some 5 year old dry food for him I'd kept in the fridge since the wild dogs got Buzz, king of the feral cat 'hood until that point. With the battle scars to prove it.

Top of the food chain feral males have about a three year life span. They eventually get knocked off by a younger male or infection from a fight. This one's got a bit more sense, that's why he lives in a tree. No drive to procreate helps.

I figured we could just claim that it wasn't our fault they got hit in the kneecaps with our Thunderbirds. Everyone knows these things are neck diving monsters. We just instinctively let go of the necks long enough to cover our faces in self defense, and pow, there went our TBirds tight into their kneecaps. In fact, we should plan a counter suit asking for reparations to fix all the headstocks they broke on our Birds.

Actually, if I had to choose a specific bass for a bar fight weapon it would absolutely be a Dan Armstrong Clear Lucite bass. Heavy as hell, durable enough for multiple beatings and see through so you can enjoy the look on the poor suckers face as it smashes into into your bass.

Watertown, SD to Nashville, TN is one of the most long and boring drives a human can endure

Have you made the drive from Arizona to Louisiana? Almost 24 hours of Texas with little to change the view. I hate that drive. There are pretty parts of Texas but they don't seem to be on that route.

And by the way it has finally cooled off here in the desert so it will only hit about 65 degrees F today. It was down to 28 the other nite so it is getting into winter weather.

It's rough out in the 'hood, it's a dog eat dog... cat eat cat world out there! Looks like he's been eating pretty good though.
There's a feral cat under my shed this year, and a lack of mice near the house. Haven't got a good look at him yet though.

From what I heard around here, feral cats don't live long because the coyotes get to them.
