I'm considering becoming a supporting member just so I can put "I WAS RIGHT" under my avatar :rolleyes:

But you guessed the nutwidth wrong on the ‘02

It is a shocker*. It was also cheap. Now the configuration has been finalised, I'll pick up a PT Nano one of these days when there's a spare $110 lying around.

Yes, disengaged everything before cutting the power. It's not really a big deal and I'm being a leetle obsessive, but I was curious seeing as the signal is going through three devices which are normally disengaged on its way to the amp. I suppose the tuner is the original sin and the three don't make that much more difference than one.

* You're joking. So am I ... kinda.
Just checking.

For that price you can get another pedal!!

They’re identical at the nut.
How much further back do you think the ‘02 bridge is (Yes, I measured!)

You and Jeff (JJR58) Thunderbirds and body parts avatars.......

Now you see, I couldn't give two hoots about the lettering on the PSU being upside down ... but the power cables being loose like that does really bother me.
That’s the beauty of the (entirely intentional - ahem) design of the ikea stömp. You can tuck the power cables down between the slats and everything appears neat and tidy...

On the question of how 'true' is 'true bypass'? it seems not at all. Pull power from the Cioks PSU and there is no signal passing through.
That one for sure. I don't know what anybody else does. It shouldn't be that difficult for a box to be wired so that when the effect is off, there's a straight conductor from jack to jack.

Makes perfect sense. You never know when you might want to walk out of the pub and get some fresh air in the parking lot while still playing your bass. Heck, with that cable you'd even be free to pop into the next pup over for a pint of non-comp beer without missing a beat. :roflmao:
Almost as good as wireless, except you can trip over it. Which I would undoubtedly do at least once per night.
