Just checking.It is a shocker*. It was also cheap. Now the configuration has been finalised, I'll pick up a PT Nano one of these days when there's a spare $110 lying around.
Yes, disengaged everything before cutting the power. It's not really a big deal and I'm being a leetle obsessive, but I was curious seeing as the signal is going through three devices which are normally disengaged on its way to the amp. I suppose the tuner is the original sin and the three don't make that much more difference than one.
* You're joking. So am I ... kinda.

I didn't guess it, I asked if it was, there's a difference! Sheesh!
Nice try

At least someone's on my side! Thanks Kat!Commonwealth solidarity here Vince!
Just because he has a big button on his desk doesn't mean he can tell the rest of us what's what.
They’re identical at the nut.
How much further back do you think the ‘02 bridge is (Yes, I measured!)
You and Jeff (JJR58) Thunderbirds and body parts avatars.......
Suppose it depends on which body parts eh?
That’s the beauty of the (entirely intentional - ahem) design of the ikea stömp. You can tuck the power cables down between the slats and everything appears neat and tidy...Now you see, I couldn't give two hoots about the lettering on the PSU being upside down ... but the power cables being loose like that does really bother me.
That one for sure. I don't know what anybody else does. It shouldn't be that difficult for a box to be wired so that when the effect is off, there's a straight conductor from jack to jack.On the question of how 'true' is 'true bypass'? it seems not at all. Pull power from the Cioks PSU and there is no signal passing through.
Almost as good as wireless, except you can trip over it. Which I would undoubtedly do at least once per night.Makes perfect sense. You never know when you might want to walk out of the pub and get some fresh air in the parking lot while still playing your bass. Heck, with that cable you'd even be free to pop into the next pup over for a pint of non-comp beer without missing a beat.![]()
For that price you can get another pedal!!
With the shipping route that thing took, it probably did go through Athens, GA!Another two! The Vortex was $45 + shipping. Came with the original receipt in the box, in Greek. It has seen some travel. It would have been even better if it had gone from Athens to Athens GA, rather than Albany.
Keep it up kids! We can hit 3000 today, then a concerted push to pass those Spector reprobates, then we can all have a well earned and deserved rest.
