Thunderbird Club

This x 1000.

Also, thanks for the help with GB. In that case, I’ll just stick with Sound Studio, which I’ve been using for ages, to string them all together and add blank space in between. I’ve never been able to warm up to GB.

Haven’t worked with Sound Studio for ages, but that should work equally well for that purpose...

GB is ok for some quick recordings and demos - But if you want to be able to edit stuff, something more advanced like Logic is the way to go.

I use GB for swapping files with one of my bandmates - He sends me a rough mix without bass, and I will load it into GB and overdub a bass line, and then send that back to him as a wav file to work with..

There's a dude in my hood selling a black Grabber body sans hardware for $400. He offered it to me for $250, but nothing is "to be" for a good stretch of road I'm afraid. But I do love that shape. Thinking about investing some stowed hardwood into a cop of it to put this Goth neck on... maybe after spring I'll get into something crazy.

Another to make me say "Oh! SNAP!!"
Really thumpy with flats, pup slid to the neck, and foam under the bridge cover. Sorry, that's probably not helping.

Another cat??? How many do you have running around? :)
That one disappeared shortly after the picture was taken, belonged to the neighbor...damn dogs.

What year Grabber? Sounds like a great deal on a fun project! You gotta have a rich uncle or sumpin!

View attachment 2867742 Ok, vintage Sunday, my 60’s Avalon hunk o junk, more wall art than playable right now but I might fix it up someday, it is a pretty funky beast.
Oh and the jacket was from last nights show... i’ll Share a couple pics later
Ok a little bit of last nights gig - part of Philly Loves Bowie week- performed Bowie’s 1974 David Live album. Here’s a little clip from the end of Moonage Daydream with the fantastic Ross Belanoit on guitar

1968, most likely. Maybe a '67 or '69. The serial number turns up a different year depending on who you ask. I got it in 1983 and it was my only bass for many years. For those who think about these things, yes, it has a case that doesn't jam the headstock now. I kept it in a cheezy gig bag up to about ten years ago, so it's a miracle it never got broken in any way. The Dimarzio One was there when I got it.
