I was sitting in a bar in Detroit and I was just talking some smack about Canadians when I said that all Canada has is lumberjacks and hockey players. Well this lumberjack lookin’ fella gets all huffy and says, careful buddy, my wife’s from Canada. Without missing a beat, I said oh yeah, what team does she play for?

Obviously a joke and it didn’t actually happen... but it could’ve and that makes it even funnier.

I mentioned Acoustic and Sunn for starters. He said “I wasn’t aware Sunn made SS amps and for players who want an acoustic sound, they normally use GK.”

Or maybe he thought acoustic with a small "a". Maybe one of those little GK combos that you see fairly often with an upright plugged into it. Who knows. I suspect there are plenty of people who don't know what an Acoustic Control amp is all about, or that those are different from what GC sells now.
